a Typhoon and a Syclone, that's hardcore! forgot all about those trucks. God I hope GM doesn't go under!
typhoon and syclone are the daily drivers , we live on a hill and the awd is handy when we get occasional snow .
Very cool. You have eclectic taste to say the least... Is that an Excalibur with the beautiful Dino and Alfas?
chanh , right, it's a 79 series III , kind of impractical but i drive it mostly in the summer and it's pretty reliable.
Thanks! How many of us can afford a real MB 540K anyway ;-) I'd take the one of the little Alfas any day! Love the Dino too of course ;-) Best.
david, you are right, brooks stevens was a well known industrial designer [ he coined the term "planned obsolesence " ] the first excalibur was designed for the new york auto show ,for studebaker who was then the u.s. importer for mercedes benz. they decided not to put the car on their stand at the last minute and stevens and sons displayed the car on their own , interest was good and they started production.
Damn thats a nice garage. Nice cars too....gotta keep the crap cars in front....just in case. Got a suggestion....or maybe you have tried it already. But the left of the garage....can you dig into that mountain....or w/e it is, and build a foundation and walls to support it. Or....dont know if you know the latest trend....build an underground garage
Love the fact that all of the vehicles that you have in those pictures... the ONE that matches your screen name and license plate is from that beautiful Dino that you have..VROOOM........and thank you for the great shots of your collection/garage. thanks
been collecting them over the years ,ferrari parts dealers, ebay etc. but i'm running out of space in the garage and wife says not in living room.
thank you donzi, most of my cars have plates that are variations of vrooom or vooom or vooooom etc. just another collection !
That's really great to hear. I see a Typhoon near my house every once in a while. To this day they're still ultimate sleepers.
