I just now thought of having a look in Ferrari by Pininfarina by Ettiene Cornil. It has some shots (look like official Pininfarina pictures) of 0663GT, with and without the 'single seater'-layout (I mean the 'driver only' wraparound windshield).
THIS sentence: "This one off convertible, a special two seater cafe racer, had a large hood air scoop and a drivers headrest, and among other unusual details was a wraparound plastic windshield and external hood fasteners." REFERS to the time when George Frochen had 0783 GT (1984). Not to the time when Rubirosa had it. I admit that it is not very clear in the article, my apologies. Marcel Massini

If you're talking about the real Ferrari 250 GT Spyder Competizione, s/n 0999GT, it's becoming available.
You may want to very carefully double-check the engine number, the data ID tag and the chassis number. Marcel Massini Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hello, Old discution i found but i I have the original picture of the 0663 gt from LD (leon Dernier)and the original design from pininf
0999GT was sold to a collector in the Far East via a US broker in approximately 1995 and has been with that owner until recently as Marcel has stated. I am aware of 0999GT being shown only once since the current owner purchased it. It is also very likely that car has recently changed hands. 0783 GT was built to look like 0999GT and would show up at the Monterrey Historics from time to time. However, it has since been restored back to original by Paul Russell and Company and was presented at the Cavallino Classic in 2018 for the new owner.
I don't think Copley Motorcars posted pictures of the ex-Cage car (0783GT). Rather looks like to the real 0663GT/0999GT...
That list involves FIVE chassis numbers - but only explains 4 cars. - is there a car that eventually became 1001GT? - What happened to the car that originally had been 0999GT?
Original factory delivery note ("Rimesso") for 250 GT Coupé Pinin Farina chassis #1001 GT to Jacques Swaters (c/o Hotel Palace in Modena), for first owner Dr. Albert Grenade in Belgium. Marcel Massini Image Unavailable, Please Login
The question is was there a complete car who originally wears the vin number 0999GT or was it just a new vin for 0663GT ?
