Espada thread

Yepp!I remeber that!He had some kind of Streetracer Project(Gädda is a Big Uggly Fish-but nice to eat)
I read about it in the Bilsport Magazine.He had a Camaro 67 that he also wanted to Plant an Lamborghini Engine in.But nothing was completed.

 

The Guy Lived just 1 km from Me,but I dont know Him.Its possible that we are talking about the same Car,the Horrendous red Swedish,with white Interrior "Espada"
It might be,that he bought it,and thought it was from a Jarama.I was wery suspicious when i talked to the guy,as i was thinking to myself-who could do such a thing to a Jarama-or a Espada?I have not seen the Car here in Stockholm and i dont know if its still in Sweden.It Might be in Norway.

 

It Might RIP?I have seen Pictures of It.Maybe some Sensible Person will build it back to Be a real Espada again?I surely Hope so.Its not too Many Espadas Left
in a Good state in this World.A lot of Cars are standing because of lack of Interest Money,and Knowhow.

maybe a short story about the car:
I was inline blading in Berlin on a German holiday while my mum called me on the mobile,
she said "Olaf, I am standing in front of a car shop, there is a car inside,
I don t know what kind of car it is, it looks very beautiful,
we need to buy it!"
I replied: "go inside and ask"
thats how it started ....

the engine Nr I will post in few days

and
I got the car from the workshop in Italy after the lamboparty
I had bigger technical problems in getting it back home
but I made it, now the car sleeps inside my garage because of engine problems

What Engine Problems do you have,If I Might ask Olaf?Is it Ingition?

 

of course may You ask about the problems:
it s not any electric, thats all new and exchanged
actually I don t know exactly what s up (and I don t post this to ask for help)
but the engine starts badly (slow) and does sometimes (say 50%) not rev higher
than 4500 rev/min - I try not to rev the engine too high, but of course if needed
it has to rev - and 4500 is no doubt a problem

Just Because I own the Giallo Series IIb Espada,that I have up for Sale!I have taken over the car to My Mecchanic(A Ferrari Mechanic)But I will Store the Car During the Cold Snowy Swedish Winter at His Garage.We will Fine adjust the Ignition Curve some moore in his Bosch Machine this winter,so its OK ower the whole Rev Scale.
This is WERY Important on these Lambo V12s that You get the Ignition,Timing Curve right.Its wery hard to get it right 100% in the Car.The absolute best is to detatch the whole Unit and Put it in a Bosch bench,adjust everything perfect,and then put it back.It Might be a Timing Problem that you have.Do you hear sk "Pinking" also if so-dont start the engine at all.At 4500 RPM are the Cams suppose to come in and you get extra power,but i still think you can have a Timing Issue on your Hands.
Also that is what you need to have Perfect,before you start to Fiddle with the Carbs.

BTW We where Racing around in His Tuned Black Ferrari Dino 246GT Yesterday!A Wery Nice experience as the Car is much faster,and has better Brakes(From a F40)
Its Both Loud,mean and Fast!A Fantastic Car.Engine is also totally rebuilt wit race components.We can Build a simmilar Car If anyone wants one..

Yepp,It was a Dull Day and +4 But The sun Shined on us anyway!It was just Great Fun!That Roaring V6 on 8000RPM.I do not have any pictures.
Its a Crazy Car.

Philippe, that car is stunning. Glad to see that it's on Canadian soil.
How many Espada's are in Canada? Unfortunatly, i've only seen two in my life. There was a well known grey one always running around Toronto all year round and even in the snow! I once saw it on the registry as being restored to some extent (mechanically only I think). I know it had a "Leny's" badge on the back.

The last one I ever saw was a black one on a hoist at Alfieri's shop when he was already closed. He said it was sold but no idea where.

Nice color combination, no US side markers, a very nice mirror,
no stickers, looks like it just got off the pruduction line...

I 've seen many Espada's butchered, mostly by people with little taste.

But from what I can tell from the pictures, THIS is how an Espada should look like, wonderfull !

Philippe, I tried searching it again on the registry. I found it years ago but cannot now. If I remember corretly it was owned by a guy in the animation biz?

Also, there is pics of it in the Ontario thread somewhere. That particular car was my first love of Espadas!
