    Cliff notes: She wants to know why i'm not sad and upset and missing all the things we used to do and wants to know if i miss her. Shes not trying to get back together with me but wants to know why i'm not sad. I said i've been miserable, we weren't working and we both agreed that it wasn't working and so i'm glad its over because we both knew what was coming.

    You can 'not answer' because you are busy. This is difficult because she was your priority and focus and now, she's not. Remember the picture of dirt in the phone. Go do it man!

    Basically she can't understand why i'm not showing any signs of sadness or being upset or whatever and wanted me to tell her i still loved her and missed her. I said i'm not doing it because it won't get us anywhere and i said that dwelling on stuff isn't productive at all etc etc

    I said over and over again that we tried and it didn't work and we both agreed and it was mutual so she really shouldn't be asking stuff like that from me


    I'm not even upset anymore, i'm just pissed that she would call me crying and expect me to do stuff that i would normally do when we're together



    I wish so so much that it was different. I really do still love her more than anything in the world but i just don't think it can work and i'm just trying to get my head around it and its just really hard for me right now. She really was the first person i have ever truly loved

    If you can, take a trip somewhere, anywhere, even if it's not far. It'll make you realize how many people there are out there in the world and how many possibilities there are for you in the future with other women. It may suck now, but everything gets better with time.

    Bingo. She doesn't really give a damn if you are hurting or not, she just wants to make sure you are hurting worse than her.

    Answering the phone and talking about the relationship or your current feelings only feeds her own ego. Some (most?) women get some sick satisfaction knowing that they can stomp on a guy's guts by placing a phone call.

    While I don't really subscribe to The Game philosophy for long term happiness (although it does work for short-term *****), this guy has to realize that the time to be some sensitive sap to this girl has passed. DETACHMENT should be the goal at this point, and blubbering on the phone doesn't accomplish this. She will string you along for weeks or months, maybe even give you a pity **** just to mess with your head and reset the hurt-o-meter.

    Don't fall for it. If you get the chance, nailing her best friend would be far more useful at this point.

    I'm not going to flat out tell her i miss her and still love her and tell her that i wish it was different. There is no point. She was talking about getting back together at some point and i just don't need to deal with it right now. We broke up 2 days ago
