Wow, nice car. Can't opine on the reserve, but it seems you are reasonably close to it with about 4 days left. I'd guess it was in the ball park.

maxout- Beautiful car with great options and low but reasonable mileage (~1200 miles per year). Your $139,500 buy it now price seems about right with reserve about $1000-5000 less. The six speed is a big selling point for some buyers and a detraction for others, but reflected in your price. The F1 option was ~$10K. The only better option package was the 2005 HGTC package, so yours is as good as was available in 2004. Very nice car and good luck on the sale. Why not advertise it in Ferraichat as well if it does not sell immediately?

maxout, Gary- Not that many six speeds, not that many FHP packages. I would be surprised if there were 200 total out of all 575M production. Unfortunately not sure it makes that much difference right now if you are selling. Bad time to sell, but it may get worse.

i faxed him the attached purchase agreement- which he never signed, never replied via ebay, i spoke with him three times monday night, said i was getting a flight and will be there tommorrow with the money....he said tuesday he was building a house on the shore ( he a very busy builder) and 60 grand wasnt alot of money to him and kept tring to get me to wire the money..

late last night i called to make arrangement told me the car had been sold.- wtf !

i have a check in my hand from bank make out to me and him and was supposed to fly out to NJ... Spoke to him and his wife at home and on their cells..... they made it sound like 100's of people where calling and it was first wire first serve...total east coast asses- - said ferraris are impulsive buys, didnt want to close thru ebay, didnt want to take a deposit, paypal, wanted only an immediate wire transfer.- Never once did he mentioned the car was wrecked- I told him i will be there today - he said he wouldnt be home and will call me tuesday

in the meantime i got the records myself from wide world of cars - Kevin and Justin- ran the carfax, the 355registry and connected the dots..

i called the dealer the verifed the windshield, replaced bumber and left rear quarter panel and shocks mounts all where worked on..... and this morning i just saw the pictures....of the wreck

alledgely ---ratedx aka Frank Schilling bought the car on ebay a few months ago for $37,500 wrecked- fixed it up and tried to sell it as clean for 56,500- shame on you piece of ****

very interesting outcome: reserve was hit and then mysteriously bidding was canceled due to reserve error(?) and it's back in play again. Hmmmmmmmmmm

 

In good faith I showed a photo of my 2005 575M taken this summer in Santa Fe NM, however I do want to make it clear in case there is any confusion that I am not the seller or in anyway associated with "maxout" as Terry will confirm.
Incidentally I was told that 246 manual 575M 's were made out of a total production run of 2056. Wolud that be US production or total world ?

Unfortunately, there are always a few bad apples in whatever business/hobby you are in. Fcars are no different. But, I prefer to remain positive. I have met many more great people through the F-car fraternity than jackasses, so I will always give someone the benefit of the doubt until proven otherwise. Not point punishing everyone else because you got burned once (or twice) before.
