    I've got the no-decal, open version of this car. I was going to keep it, but now that I've got the GMP, I'm going to let it go - as I don't really have the space to keep duplicates. I was going to put the car on ebay, but there seems to be a pretty wide range of prices, so I'm turning to my friends at f-chat to help me price it - I've seen them as high as $150 and as low as $25... I think I gave $75 for it. Thoughts?

    (I have the box, it's in good shape but less than great shape - the model is in great shape)

    I would start the auction at around $60.00, and let people bid from that range. My guess is it will sell around the same price as you did.

    2 Jouef P4's sold for just under $50 recently on Ebay. The prices they were getting shouldn't have been affected too much by the release of the GMP P4. As you know, the GMP is a MUCH version but it comes at a premium.

    If Kyosho or even HW ever made the P4 the Jouef version wouldn't be worth anything.

    Roy----How is the detail on it? Comparable to regular HW? I almost got one a few times, but never bid on them...Not sure about the detail...

    The detail isn't too bad... not quite up to an Elite, certainly better than an regular HW though. Doors open, front and rear are both removeable, spare tire is present and able to be removed - plastic wheel, rubber tire, not just a single molded piece of plastic. If you'd like I can take some pics for you... there are a couple in the P4 goes around the world... thread, though no detail shots.

    I have a couple of the Jouef models and they are not to bad at all. I would hold on to it.

    i would say - keep it ! its a nice model - what else would you buy for around 50 $? i have eight different Jouef and Eagles race 330 P4 and will keep them, when my GMP arrives.

    hi,

    if i was you i would wait to sell it , (if you don't need the money) because prices have fallen on ebay for models due to the financial crisis.
    If you sell it now you will be lucky if you get $30 for it, if you wait 1 year things will get better and there will be more demand for models as the economy goes up again.
    I follow up on ebay on a daily base and at the moment its a time to buy instead of selling due to the low prices on the market.

    The GMP got here and took its place in the display, now it's just sitting around. Essentially, it's the same model and I don't keep duplicates in the collection anymore. If I can trade for a silver Elite 575 GTZ, cool. If not, that's fine too. I certainly don't need to get rid of it...

    LOL!!!!!!!!!!! You are right about that!!!!! I did end up getting another 550 UT Mint in Box!! Another very generous Fchatter felt bad for me and bought and sent it to me--FREE of charge....THANKS SW!!!
