RHD F50 would have to be an easy sale?? Plenty of market for that one. Do these cars sell for a discount due to their former owner? There are a couple of 355's here which were from this collection, amongst other cars her I'm sure.
Best I could find. http://www.mirror.co.uk/news-old/top-stories/2007/10/26/the-man-who-pays-his-cleaner-7m-115875-20011789/ tho the way its worded it could mean he still has the collection...
Oil revenues do the world so much good. Like providing employment for skilled Italian workers but mostly, the Sultans family has treated their citizens well- Per capita GDP is among the highest in Asia, and substantial income from overseas investment supplements income from domestic production. The government provides for all medical services and free education through the university level and subsidizes rice and housing. Brunei's leaders are concerned that steadily increased integration in the world economy will undermine internal social cohesion. Plans for the future include upgrading the labor force, reducing unemployment, strengthening the banking and tourist sectors, and, in general, further widening the economic base beyond oil and gas. What fascinated me most, was there are no landline phones in Brunei. It was easier to give everyone cell phones than run copper lines.

MCL F1 BN2008 SA9AB5AC4R1048014 This one has changed hands three times since he owned it. A cookie to whoever can tell me where it is now. ;-)
I don't know if you're trying to say you own it or know that person that does. I think I remember NY plates on it after it was painted white. I remember the owner's son (or owner) was asking what color wheels to put on it and I suggested black to contrast the white body (on another forum). Nice to see that's the way it ended up.
Wow. Things are really bad when the sultan has to sell his cars. And he says it's because he doesn't have the time to drive them all.
I love that the list also had a Ford Econoline on it..... Maybe there is still hope for domestic automakers.... A few Jeep's also.
Sorry if this has already been said, as this is the first time I have looked at the list. All of the Audi VINs have a ZZZ in them. That typically designates a pre-production car that would not be usable here in the US. ZZZ VIN'd cars are typically destroyed after use by the manufacturer. Because they are so heavily modified, Audi/The Sultan must not care. Just thought that it was worth sharing.
This thread whilst informative illustrates an utter waste of cars foremost and money second.the chap must be very very bored
