Just thought I'd check in with the iPhone between drinks on the beach I'll post some pics of the Ferrari Store I found when I'm on an actual computer.
Puma is opening a new store in the Mohegan Sun Casino. Due to there relationship with Ferrari, I thought it would be cool to have a few cars inside the casino behind velvet ropes for the grand opening. Difficulties that remain are selling Corperate and finding Ferrrari's in late December or early January willing to show up. I have a contact at Puma and continue to try. Who knows how it will turn out. Interest is medium on both sides.
I can probably arrange access for an enclosed car trailer to ferry one F-car down to the casino, if it helps. Width would be a factor (An Enzo, for example, is probably too wide) and my schedule in Dec is crazy, but let me know if there is intrest, I will see what I can do. Also, I saw mention of a calendar, I would love to purchase one, where do I send my money?
Funny - was there last Thursday and noticed the Puma store construction walls and wondered.... Thanks for putting the effort in on this! Troy
Great shot of the family there Craig... I'm thankfull for Ferrari's and my Sunday friends Happy Thanksgiving!!!!
Just a friendly reminder from Dr.Jess... Make sure that if you have pets around this holiday, that they do not get into all the t-day food...this is a list of some of the foods that can be toxic to dogs and cats: onions, garlic, chocolate (the higher the cocoa content, the more toxic), grapes, raisins, macadamia nuts, bones, potato peelings, rhubarb leaves, nutmeg, avocados, raw foods, dairy products (while not toxic, they can cause alot of GI upset), persimmons, salt, baking powder, baking soda (these three in large quantities), sugar-free foods containing xylitol... if you suspect your pet has ingested any food, plant, medication, etc. that may be a potential toxin, refer to this website and call the ASPCA poison control center...they are excellent... http://www.aspca.org/site/PageServer?pagename=pro_apcc So keep an eye out for those four-legged critters of yours so they have a happy holiday too Have a great holiday everyone! J
Hi DrJess, Thanks for the reminder. Have to be extra vigilant this time of year with the felines running around. The equines are another story altogether. You've gotta keep one eye on them at all times all year round. If there's trouble to be found then they'll find it. Happy Thanksgiving to all "gatherers". We have much to be thankful for. - Ed -
Craig, First off - great photo. Absolutely love it. I'm no expert in these matters, however, I think that the photo may have been touched up. Perhaps with an application program like PhotoShop. The dead giveaway is the set of pumpkins. All farmers know that there's no possibility of getting a set of three perfectly matched pumpkins. Just cannnot be done. - Ed -
Happy Thanksgiving fchatters. Are the sunday meets over-or are they on weather related schedules now? I finally have some time to come again.
meetings are weather permitting only now. Guest lists have dwindled significantly. BTW...I don't think I can make it this Sunday
