yes no it wont, just because your economy is in the crapper doesnt mean ours is lol! wrong again! For example, I bet i could get $130K USD for my boxer, that equals $170Kcdn which I would never get up here. The dollar combinded with a different market makes all the difference plus availiability. We dont have the same selection up here either.
Yes thats the asking price in canadian funds but thats not why I posted the car. I was just disappointed they let it sit outside like that. If someone buys it from here thats fine and dandy but I get nothing out of it.
Try again man, at today's exchange rate that would be $68850 USD and that is if they are asking 85k CAD. Too much for me after the care they have shown it. As a few have said, they have a nice cozy place by the hellfires for treating her that way. MB
80K cdn is about 64K US. I'd be all over it if it was just a tad cheaper. Sometimes I hate how expensive everything is here in Canada Next Summer is my time, just not right now. Couple more months
80,000.00 CAD = 64,360.77 USD Canada Dollars United States Dollars 1 CAD = 0.804510 USD 1 USD = 1.24299 CAD
I thought Sultan cars were right hand drive? At least the many we have here in NZ are. There is a Nero/Nero F355 Spider here that is ex Sultan of Brunei and it's a pre production 1994.
I might as well park it on a lawn before i put the tarp on it so holds as much moisture as possible. Now that its inside and I did a PPI on the car I can say its in excellent condition typical of a texas car which is where its from originally.
Cool! I will be in Barrie in two weeks for Christmas, so I may have to sweep by and take a look at this. I used to get funny looks when I would drive my NSX around Barrie in the winter snow, so maybe putting some snow tires on an F355 would be a good alternative. LOL!!
Hi all, well I just wanted to thank Newman for his help with this 355. I'm a sucker for an underdog. Comes, I think, from all those years as a child rooting for the, then useless, Patriots and Red Sox. The car made it to me yesterday. Took a couple pictures, and set it up on the battery tender. Going through the owners manual. Haven't gotten it registered yet, hopefully early this week, so no serious driving yet. Image Unavailable, Please Login
It is, and its in excellent shape with lots spent on mechanicals by the PO. Im glad you're happy Mike, it was my pleasure and im glad its in good hands finally! P
Snooze, I lose. What did it go for in USD? Not a bottom feeder...but curious. General comment (not about this car): I still believe that you should purchase the best example you can find, and that all of the recent "panic" is freeing up more stories cars than real finds. Its a great time to unload a car for the low price that it deserved previously -- its just that now folks think they have a bargain on their hands, so caution to avoid 'red fever'.
I love a happy ending. Beautiful car with an appreciative new owner. Drive it in good health. Taz Terry Phillips
