Can anybody tell me what Ferrari used to hold the fog lights in from the back of the bumper. I am hesitant to glass in fasteners but something has to be permanent to allow fog light removal without taking off the bumper. The parts diagram only shows the screws from the front. There is no room for a washer unless one was bent to conform. Advice would be appreciated.

Mark; It's impossible to see the inside of the bumper (as in your picture) without removing the bumper, but I just took a minute to pull the left fog light off my 348, and I can tell you that there IS a threaded insert molded into the bumper to hold the mounting screw for the fog light in place. There is no need for an additional nut/washer on the inside of the bumper. That makes it a mystery why you can't just screw on your fog light. Has your bumper been damaged and repaired incorrectly? At this point with your bumper off it would be easy to just mix up some epoxy and glue a couple of nuts in place, or you might be able to make up a nut plate and rivet it to the inside of the bumper.

You can just barely see the threads in the picture attached.

Mine is pretty much the same as Jeff's, just a hole in the fiberglass that the fog light gets screwed to.

This is a pic of my factory 348 front bumper backside showing the lefthand fog light area with the bumper upside down. You can see the blind boss where the threaded insert would be. I think you have an aftermarket front bumper.

I reemmber thats where I put my brake ducts on the 348 racecar. So I can't remember how the light attached. You might be able to put a rivnut in there without taking the bumper off.

Thanks for the info guys! I ordered knife threadserts from Grainger and will glass them at the back for added support. I never knew they existed but they are pretty handy for soft materials like fiberglass and wood. I will post a picture when its complete.
