Going to meet Hamilton

I have an invite to go meet/greet with L. Hamilton at Exxon Mobil HQ here in DC in two weeks. I met him briefly last year when he came and he was funny and entertaining and very humble and laid back. Will let all you guys know how it goes.

Will ask him how good RB is to race against for Sindo (Kidding Fellas, relax).

If you like him, have fun! But if it was me, I wouldn't make any effort to meet him.

Exactly!!! They usually have the whole set up with a car and his personal manager and the like. It is actually pretty cool...last year I got and autographed poster of him in last year's car. Hopefully can do the same this year.

Again, I am not a particularly huge fan of his, but he was quite the cool guy when he was here last, so it is hard NOT to like him.

I would have thrown out an invite, but the my friend (who's wife works there and is taking me) gets shafted because the other guy she invites tells her he is bringing THREE of his friends - how freaking rude) eliminated any opportunities for me to do so.

Likely they will have another driver next year, and you will be the first on my list of invitees.

Thats cool. Not a particular fan of him but its cool to meet F1 drivers...

I had the chance to meet MS once, My sisters boss has this whole thing with arabian horses and schumacher came there looking to buy a couple...Only thing is my sister forgot to tell me until she came home. She knew about it for weeks but 'just forgot about it'. Her boss later said he would have been fine with it and could have met him if my sister told me earlier.

 

I'd be interested to know if he thinks F1 guys would race the Indianapolis 500 if it was a winner take all $15,000,000 purse. This has been the suggestion of Robin Miller and others to make the race return to its former glory and attract bigger talents to the once called "greatest spectacle in racing".

 

Ask him what F-car(s) he owns.

 

Ask him how the McLaren F1 LM he got is .

 

Ask him if he wishes his girlfriend was a freak like me

 

I thought they pulled the carpet from under his feet and told him he has to win 3 World Championships before its his. Then if he does that they will tell him that it had to be won on a Thursday.
