I ended up getting the car for $255.00 with Free Shipping. Minus the 10% = $ 25.50. Then in 60 days I will get $75.50 back into my Paypal account. So in the end it will have only cost me $153.00. WHAT A DEAL!

+1! I have 3 LP640's, grey one from Norev, and both the orange and yellow from Maisto.

Norev version FTW! Plus, the yellow one from Maisto looks like a weird mix between orange and yellow. I was expecting it to be the same paint as the Murcielago they did.

 

Here is the Norev LP; lowered and adjusted rear wheels offset.

They look pretty good once you get those things done

Are you aware that the model is an inaccurate depiction of that car?
--Nose air intake too small for Kyalami.
--Wrong clear windscreen for Mario.
--Wrong tires; the model has 1970 Firestones and not the '71 low-profile versions.
--Wrong wing endplates; the model's style were only used (to my knowledge) at Spa and Monza.

I bought the Ickx Spa version, which I believe is the only version which is entirely accurate (or close to it).

 

yes I know its not a Ferrari, but this is one of the nicest models I have ever seen.

As I mentioned earlier, I only lowered the front and pulled out the rear wheels a bit; that is all I did.

 

So how bad is the original? From the pics ive seen it looks pretty good. Is it worth getting?

 

I'm too new at collecting 1:18 to have a top 5 because there are too many I want...or should I say, NEED!
