yes, the Lusso version. I'd like to see a return to that kind of simplicity of beauty. They somewhat achieved that with the 550. However, the old world Ferrari is barely comparable to today's Ferrari, regardless of model, in my opinion. You can't fairly compare a 250 GT to a 348, 328, 550 or even a 288 GTO or F50. Each represent different eras and styles of Ferrari. Each is distinct and has it's own story to tell.
'bra'-'ille' := I think 'brasilian islands', with bikini clad busty chicks, chasing knowledable hot meat up and down the streets, :^]
Everybody is being too hard on the car. It's not that bad. Besides, what do you want for $200K? Looks too?
Sadly all the voices in your head agree with me when I say "You've no idea as to what you're talking about."
i saw the california in california last week (LA auto show). it is ugly!! looks just like the photos!!! not a "guy car"!!

For 200 000 you want the looks too ? HUH are you out of your f***cking mind there buddy ? 200k is a lot of money and if i had 200K right now i would never spend it on this car, its UGLY!!!
Its slowly growing on me, when I first saw it I thought it was a$$, similar feelings to when I saw the 360 for the first time, I mean after the gorgeous timeless beauty that the 355 to have a design like a 360 was abit of shocker, I do have to saw the front has issues but the rear is not half as bad what most of the guys on here are saying. The only upside to me is that I hope the majority keeps on haten on this car so residual values are crap, this would be a great car to pick up used with 10k to 15k miles on the clock in a year or two, probably get it for a song. The reviews bill this car as an attempt by Ferrari to attract 1st time buyers. I have owned many cars but not an F-Car yet, but let me say this Cali is not going to be my first. I too could stare at the 360 all day and may add ot my stable partly to do just that. This car in black with the rear shot is just atrocious. I thought Bangle wasnt allowed to make more car-butts.
$200,000 is a lot of money for a daily driver. I was hoping for a price closer to $165-170. Still a lot of money though. But the replacement F430 is supposed to be a big step up from the current F430 spider price. If you really want a great first Ferrari, why not pick up a used 360. From what the other threads say, it is a buyers market with a ton of cars to choose from and great prices. If you can believe what the other FChatter are quoting, someone said less than 80K. That's a great price! I heard that it cost the factory about that much to make the car!
. . .I guess it's safe to say that the 612 is no longer the ugliest offspring in the Ferrari household.
I actually kind of regret all the smack I've talked about the California. Its a fairly good looking car.
Most any car can look good in black, the Kali still looks like a dogs dinner that's how poor the design is.
