There was a thread awhile ago talking about how we can remember those users that have moved on. There were several ideas, I saw another forum where they indicate users that have passed away with the title "In Memory" and also indicate birth and death date. By doing this we can provide a link to list all of these users.

Let me know your thoughts and lets start a list of usernames.

    Thank you.

How about a sticky thread with their names and profiles posted with the "In Memory" status designated?

excellent thread idea. should be a sticky somewhere for it, or a separate forum title for those who are racing in the clouds now.

It would be cool to have a section (F-Chat Fallen Heroes or Hall o Fame...) , the individual can have his/her own thread where others can post photos, or say a few words to the departed.
IMO, Putting them all in one thread (Sticky) would be messy and unorganized.

a set of rules should be implemented in respect of those who are named in the section, and make it so that Mods are the ones who can create/merge threads to avoid any disrespect from any Trolls creating bogus threads.

    Another idea is ...

If you do create another section to honor those who have passed on, in addition to including sections for "Members"

Consider also sub sections within this section to honor "Celebrities" ( Actors, Race Drivers..) and "Faithful Companions" (dogs, cats...) and maybe even "That Old Car" to lighten things up a bit.

I don't think(most of the time:D) that putting this in the subscribed section would be a good thing for instance what if the deceased members wife, family, friends would like to read our post of the member they would have to subscribe which is asking a lot just to see if their loved one was remembered.

It should be made accessible to all especially their families in fact F-chat should send out a sympathy card stating that we will be honoring the deceased and giving them information on how to log on to FC. I mean who knows the members Ferrari might get passed down the family tree.

OK, man so many. Know Terry and there was another Cali person a few years ago that was tracker and in airplane crash. Was on FerrariChat, but not as active, maybe a NSX'er?

While we're talking I don't have the exact stats in front of me, but there were about 9 users that never logged on again after 9/11. We only had about 5k users total back then too.
