very toy-ish looking, but then again, perhaps little touch up and chop and change can make big difference as apegen had shown.

good toy, but still no collectible status tho imo.

The obvious high dollar cars have been mentioned, but here are a few I like.

    Jouef P4
    Jouef 288 Evo
    UT F355's
    Paul's Model Art F1 Ferrari's
Nearly every Schumi F1 you can get your hands on.
    Exoto - Silk Cut Jag

Good calls across the board - though I think the GMP P4 would make the Jouef P4 redundant (I sold my Joueff P4 yesterday)

I agree, I mentioned it because it was the first 1:18 P4. They will always be a great 1:18 to get imho, even if it is needy in the detail department.

Agreed. They are certainly better than a current day 1:18 hotwheel and approach some of the Elite cars. I certainly won't be getting rid of my 288 GTO Evo any time soon, if ever.

my list is pretty basic, all the cars are available, I just haven't had a chance to finding some at the right prices

    - corvette z06 (autoart)
    - 360 cs
    - ccx
    - reventon (autoart)
    - lp560-4 (when available)

6.0 and 430 scud is on that list as well...

id also really like to get a 1:18 transport truck, i've never even seen one, let alone buy it

Made by UT, back in the day... I used to have two... sold them on ebay for a hefty profit when I went all Ferrari.

EDIT: http://cgi.ebay.com/1-18-UT-Models-Mclaren-F1-LM-Orange-SUPER-RARE_W0QQitemZ180311996653QQcmdZViewItemQQptZDiecast_Vehicles?hash=item180311996653&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1205|66%3A2|65%3A12|39%3A1|240%3A1318|301%3A1|293%3A1|294%3A50 - no affiliation with this auction, just listed for example.

Future Releases > Mattel > Elite Series 1:43 2008 Lamborghini Reventon listed in Replicarz, so I would image a 1/18 won't be far behind.

Sorry for the late reply on the McLaren.
Yeah its a UT, I bought way back when Exoticar of Beverly Hills was still a great place to buy from. I have had it for years, and have not seen another with a antenna on top.
I'd like to find another just like it some day, the one in the pics stays packed up.

Even though the model itself is an innacurate representation of the real car...

UT was the only one that I'm aware of that produced the F1 LM (in 1:18 scale anyway) - It's a fine model, IMO. Not that it matters much, since it's the only game in town.
