    Purchased a 1995 F355 Spider with no engine compartment shield on the right side. Black plastic shield on left side is present. Checked Ricambi parts list and there appears to be no right shield for 1995 US Spiders although there appears to be a mounting bracket for one.

    Can other owners please confirm this or provide the part number for the part. Engine compartment looks unfinished without a right shield. Can shields from other later model Spiders be installed in the 1995 ?

    To my knowledge ALL 355's came with both lateral engine covers, the right side one is normally missing due to the jump start points being located under it. :)

    All year 355's had the same cover. :)

    The lateral engine support covers are made of metal, are we talking about the same thing?

    In fact they did not. European 1995 spiders had large cut outs in each of the side covers for resonator tubes.
