    Don't normally post to these things. Just kinda read in the shadows.. But felt compelled to share my dark secret with you guys. These are actual miles as of start of the summer.. Bought out of a collection, Owned for last 3 years... Smells new, and there is still plastic on some of the carpet behind the seat from the factory...

    I claim the garage queen crown as my own!

    Correct me if I'm wrong, but that's the lowest mile 355 we know of, maybe Robbie can help? That is insane, it needs to be hermetically sealed. Buy another 355 as a DD, now that's bliss,

    Bonecutter1, I have often wondered why people own these car's and use them very little, I understand it's your car and do with it as you wish, but I honestly do not understand why you would have such a low mile 10~ year old car. Please teach me. :eek:

    (This post might sound sarcastic but in all honesty I just do not understand)

    Thanks for the "buy a poster" feedback JDM-NZ! To your question, there are several reasons why this car has low miles and why for the most part it will stay that way until she belongs to another;

    1) I have a few cars and love them all, but can only drive one at a time
    2) I travel extensively and when I am home (weekends mostly) I have a wife, a 2yr boy and 5yr old girl to tend too. So not having 4 seats limits this car.
    3) Its winter in Ohio 4 months of the year and I don’t drive my sports cars in the snow
    4) I just get attached to cars like this, and can never seem to part with them once they are mine. Hence, the more i have the less each gets driven...
    5) Lastly, because in the words of Gold Member, "Thats the way Uhhh huh.. uhhh huh.. I like it, Uhhh huh.. uhhh huh.. KC and the Sunshine Band"

    More direct to your follow-up request for teaching, I am not a teacher, but I did watch a lot of Kung Fu episodes when i was 9 years old so i will do my best....

    To begin, Dude (May I call you Dude?) Dude, It’s a freaking Ferrari... We (you included as I assume that wicked cool yellow spider in your icon is yours) spend three times an average persons yearly income on a car with a steering wheel and four tires (and sometimes more $$$ on multiple of same configuration).. Your owning it and driving it, or me owning it and polishing the fenders, are equally ridicules and narcissistic by the most reasonable human beings perspective and measure. I would further assert that the number of miles driven doesn't change the level of absurdity for anyone except possibility the person trying to justify why he/she spends this absurd amount of money (for a car) in the first place. Personally, I choose not to justify the cost or the miles to myself or others as its a pointless endeavor that usually results in listener rolling there eyes (often times this is my wife) and telling me to give up and just do what makes me happy. Hence, my 430 is soon to be ordered and will sit next to the 355 which will now be driven even less as a result….

    I hope this helps you grasshopper. Now go, go and be free to explore the world and learn from my teachings….

    LOL!!!! You're a funny guy, you should post here more often. :)

    Thank you for the complements on my car.

    As for your teachings, thank you for the response. Each to their own I guess.

    By the way, I don't justify spending money on my cars by driving them, I use them for their intended purpose, it's why I own my cars. You own yours for another reason, the world is a diverse place.

    Now go buy that poster! LOL :D
