Exactly what evidence do you have that BE has ever acted unethically or immoral in any of his F1 business deals? Or are you just spouting out hearsay and/or rumors from a bunch of people like us wasting time on the computer? And if you believe that just because you are or will be divorced makes you a bad person, then over 1/2 of the worlds population meets that definition.
Ken Tyrrell, Frank Williams and Bruce McLaren were all outspoken critics of Bernies dealings - I would say that's a pretty strong indicator that the man has some ethical failings. Furthermore, it was documented in BusinessF1 that there was a back-room deal between Bernie and Max for Bernie's company to get the F1 rights. Max was initially investigated for this but for various reasons the case never went to prosecution. Game, set, match. Try again. As for the divorce thing, re-read what I wrote. I just said that apparently his wife doesn't think he's all that great, since she's leaving him. That's a fact. Anything factual from your side Frank or just dropping in to stir the pot? Got any informational posts anywhere on F-chat, for that matter?
Great posts, I wasn't aware of how Berine wangled it, but the backroom deals are pretty much what you would expect from a used car salesman. The problem here is that the whole thing is unsustainable, just like the real estate bubble, it can't go on for much longer. Honda is just the first to leave. I was truly hoping that Ferrari woudn't have hung in there with Bernie and the teams would have taken the sport back and gotten it on track. Problem is they have just prolonged the enevitable.
So I was correct...you are basing your allegations of unethical and/or immoral conduct on hearsay statements made by other businessmen that were out negotiated by BE. Why would a so called "backroom" deal be automatically considered unethical and/or immoral? Most business dealings around the world are handled that way for confidentiality reasons. And what in the world would MM being investigated have to do with BE? I thought they were friends and business associates, I was unaware that they were the same person. Even if MM and BE are really the same person, as you correctly stated, the investigation of MM(the BE alter ego) was dropped...so how could that possibly bolster your lame allegation. And I really do not believe that BE and MM are the same person. If you are hated as a successful/wealthy businessman, it usually means that the ones that hate you either want to be you or are jealous of your success...which one are you?
The point is very simple. Bernie was appointed by the group he represented to negotiate a favorable deal on their behalf, and instead he negotiated on behalf of himself, not on behalf of those he was supposed to represent. That is unethical. He did not outnegotiate the other team owners, he wasn't supposed to be negotiating with them, he was supposed to represent them. Lawyers ought to understand the difference between hearsay and documented fact. This is the latter, FYI. However, coming from you, I am not surprised you do not see any ethical problem. Someone who would attempt to profit from their fellow f-chatters by informing them of this great new music download service, without informing them they profited from their participation in said service is not an ethical person. Such a person is "out for themselves, even at the expense of others", just like Bernie is. It is not a surprise to me that you don't see a problem with his actions. Birds of a feather, and all that. Only difference is he's been successful at it. You ought to put your ethical liberties to good use - like as a PI attorney or something. Oh, wait....
So when your lame argument about BE fails, you attack me. So where are all those documents to support your so called "...documented fact..." ? Its not documented without documents...I thought so. As far as Burnlounge is concerned, of course the seller of any product, whether MLM or one of the many sponsors on FChat intends to make a profit...its called capitalism. If one were to accept your poor excuse of logic, the many sponsors of FChat or any advertisement anywhere whatsoever for that matter are all made by unethical-immoral evil people. After all, they all expect a profit from their buyers. Its obvious that you are jealous of BE's success and want to be just like him. Just like the dark haired broad on your Profile is jealous of girls with naturally blond hair and wants to be one too . ... hugs and kisses...xxxooo
I attack you because I don't like you. You always post crap and it's devoid of anything interesting, anything insightful, and anything relevant. It most certainly is a documented fact that Bernie was appointed by FOCA to negotiate with the FIA on it's behalf - at that time, Bernie was a team owner. During negotiations, he set up a company called FOPA and negotiated rights to that company. That is a breach of ethics and a conflict of interest. The rest of the team owners were very public about their outrage at what Bernie did. He may or may not have done something that was counter to UK law - in the USA that would be breach of fiduciary duty, and anywhere in the world it's unethical. And it is most certainly documented. Therefore, it is not a matter for debate whether Bernie acted unethically, because he clearly did. The only folks that would think otherwise would be folks with compromised ethics themselves, which brings us to you. I do not believe you to be an ethical person, so I do not believe you see any problem with the above. You previously made a post claiming to have discovered a great new site that F-chatters would do well to check out. Where you acted unethically was when you pretended to be simply a happy customer, when in fact you stood to gain financially from f-chatters use of the site. You were not a sponsor, so you were in violation of f-chat rules by posting such. You didn't think it was a problem that you were attempting to deceive your "friends" on f-chat into giving you money. So, it's clear to me that you are not an ethical person. So it's not a big surprise that you would defend someone who has capitalized on unethical behaviour to a much greater degree than you have. As for me being jealous of Bernie, I am not. There are lots of very wealthy people that I admire and there are those I do not. I do not admire Bernie because I believe him to be unethical. I admire lots of people in F1 also, most of whom are very wealthy (some more so than Bernie). It again speaks to your ethics that money is something to be admired, even if it was accumulated by acting unethically. I would expect no less from someone that attempted to fleece their fellow f-chatters. As for the "broad on my profile" (girlfriend), I doubt she is jealous of anyone, because she passed away this past year. But very classy of you to bring it up.
While I don't know you at all, the feeling is quickly becoming quite mutual based on your ad hominem attacks.. And if my posts are so uninteresting, you sure spend a lot of time responding to them. As far as your diatribe on ethics, FYI the UK has some of the toughest ethical laws in the world. If BE violated any such laws, he would have been prosecuted accordingly. The claims against him were made by unhappy F1 associates that felt he got a better deal than they did...no more. My admiration of BE has to do with his success in bringing F1 from the brinks of bankruptcy to the premier motor sport it is today. While I'm glad he made a lot of money doing so, I admire his accomplishments, not his money. And FYI, I am not now or never have been a sales associate for Burnlounge...I only used it for some music downloads when my secretary got involved. She and her then NFL player Davey Pollack made a lot of money selling those downloads. I am sorry to hear about your girlfriend's passing.
