Pretty much anything by New Order will get my blood coursing, my heart pounding, and lift my spirits until I feel I can run up Everest. I listen to it when I run, when I drive, when I am working, studying, relaxing, wanting to get energized, etc.

    New Order is awesome.

Please, don't take offense, but are you serious?

Literally, I've always thought ABBA was under exclusive contract to Muzak or similar entity...never thought they were a real band.

New Order is a one of the best bands I have ever seen live. I think I saw them about 8 times. I have one of their synths a Crumar DS 2 in my studio that I bought from the base player.

I am a big Abba fan as well. I used to have a lifesize 6ft carboard display promo in my bedroom. My mom put it in the basement when I went to college and it got destroyed. I wished I still had it for me studio.

Tomorrow Never Knows, The Beatles Revolver.

In the 70's when 801 Live (Manzanarra) came out I thought
this version was pretty good but went back to the Beatles version and
found it still blows me away

This thread could also be titled 'What type of music did you latch on to as your favorite'. From about age ten, I really liked Jobim's latin samba jazz. Before he passed away, I got a chance to see him live and it was a wonderful experience watching the 'Brazilian Master'. Brilliant artist. With jazz as a favorite, I like just about everything except for opera, chamber and slow cowboy songs. Depending on my mood, I'll go from Metallica to Bela Fleck's banjo to Etta James belt'en the blues. You Tube can provide hours of great listening for whatever music mood you are in.
