No not at all, he had already done a lap at speed before the lap he went off. The tires were around thier operating temp when he went off. If he had gone off due to cold tires it would have been on his first lap at speed not the second. Back on the subject, the tire warmer ban is no big deal. F1 is the only racing series to even use them in the first place. Everyone else mans up and drives. If F1 really wants to control costs it's really not that hard. Stop f***ing with the rules every year. Also KERS is just plain stupid. They might as well flush money down the toilet by using that. Now is not the time to introduce a system this complex and expensive to develop.
