I have heard about this forum from a few people. This is my first post, want to say Hi to everybody.

I was wondering if anyone here is from Vancouver, or knows of a shop that I can take my 99 355 spider too? I have just purchased it and want to get the 30k service done myself. I know I can take it to ferrari of vancouver, but I thought some of you may know of independent shops that won't charge the same ridiculous factory prices.

I was thinking about purchasing the service kit from Ricambi and doing it myself, but not quite sure if that would be the smartest idea. So now I'm thinking of taking it to the shop in the winter months, so that I can enjoy it in the spring/summer.

    any ideas?

    Thanks

Both my Father and I personally know Joseph. He is a great guy. A true Italian. When I pick up my 355 next year, i too will be going straight to him.

Congrats on the purchase, by the way. Enjoy :)

Thanks again, I wouldn't mind checking them out. If it's worth my while and find it more appropriate than anything here, I would definitely take it down there.

Congrats, welcome, and please post some pics!

There are a few options around - there's an Italian guy out in PortCo who has some old Lambo's in his shop, there's a Maserati guy on Kingsway, there's an Alfa/Fiat guy near Granville Island, and I believe FMoV is doing a Classic program with '99 as the cut-off (not sure if it's before or after), something like 10-15% discounts on parts and labour I think it is.

I go to Joseph for my '94 spider - and would add being a Ferrari you'll get high prices for most everything, regardless of what you end up doing.
