    Hey mate, GT Car Parts in Arizona (623-780-2200) just got a 348 spider that was wrapped around a pole on the right side. They might have a few parts you need. I might have a rear grill as well.

    Don't know if someone has already posted, there is a rear grill on ebay germany. Not cheap though. Good luck.

    Wow.. some interesting stuff here.. Here is my $.02. If someone drove my car and had an accident I would want to know who is at fault of the accident. Is the other party responsible in any way. If not so be it. Accidents happen. What I would not be doing is have the person that had the accident be responsible to repair it. That is nuts. They would only be concerned with the best interest of his pocket - not returning the car to preloss condition. Seems like there is going to be some more trouble in the future. This scenario is all wrong. This car should have been in the shop already and returned to the owner.

    So am I correct in reading this post that your friend is aware of the situation? Have you considering seeing if your insurance has any support for you? You may be dropped and have to pay the consequences but that's what insurance is for. On my insurance, I am insured for any vehicle I drive, and covered to a certain point. The rest would be up to me. Try not to bring up the make of the car unless they ask otherwise your story will be the water cooler story of the year at your insurance company. (please tell me you have insurance?)

    Bottom line, you need to make sure this is done the right way. If it were a commuter and you had a hiccup, that could likely be fixed to par on your own with some body shop aide. When it comes to a car of this caliber you need to see that it is done correctly. You have already diminished the value of this car even if you pay top dollar to have it repaired. Go seek out estimates to get it done right and figure out how many years it's going to take for you to make things right in your pocketbook. By all means make sure you get referrals for shops in your area that know what they are doing. Other shops will start salivating as soon as they see Enzo's last name.

    ok... so u say the scenario etc is all wrong... to put in perspective the owner is a clueless 35 yr old female... she isnt even confident in driving a manual car let alone the ferrari...
    im not gonna be taking shortcuts and looking at only ways to save my money... if something is not gonna be 100% correct i will not pursue that avenue... i am treating this as if it was my ferrari i wanted fixed... it is the morals i was brought up on and thats what i will stand by.

    PAP thanks for the links will check more out too! keep posting if u see anything... and when its fixed u will get to go for a lap... and experience it in all its convertible glory ;)

    I thought he was driving (RHD) so he was a passenger? You guys don't have highways in Austrailia? I drive in the left lane ALL THE TIME here. :D

    Yeah man, Spider owner is an Fchatter that lives in sunny California. :):)

    I was chauffeured around California in a 348 Spider for 2 weeks!! Doesnt get any better than that! :D:D

    We have PLENTY of highways here mate. Sadly, ALL the highways around these parts are lined with kangaroos just *waiting* to jump out on the road in front of you and smash you car to pieces! :(:(
