Nope. It was put on consignment by a member, a pilot, who bought a red 348 spider from us. Sold to a man from Hurst, I believe. It is very similar to yours though........

BTW, thanks for bringing this thread back up. I found that one other disk and decided to put it in and it brought back the memories of all these photos. I had forgotten I had posted them before. I am sure many of our newer members had not seen these before. Putting cars on consignment certainly gave us the opportunity to display a nice variety of cars and not be limited to just a few new ones.........

I saw that car in the workshop at FoH when the very generous lead mechanic Scott Gresham took me back for a job interview. Scott was great and wanted to hire me but Mr.Rissi had a different view yet I also got to see a 330 going thru a frame-off resto and one of Gerhard Bergers F1 cars.

Scott is a really good guy.

Several years ago Neiman-Marcus in downtown Dallas used the Berger car on display in the mens dept. FoH showed up with the race rig, unloaded the car. The crew is full uniform took the car apart and loaded it on the freight elevator and took it upstairs where it was reassembled in the dept and set up for display. Quite a show.

I remember reading about Paul Frame in the late '90s and his collection, racing, etc. Seemed like a very likeable, successful guy. Forza, R&T, etc. all did profiles of his cars at that time (F50 delivery).

Seems he was in E & P at the time, but I know very little about what happened to him, or if he still has any Ferraris.

    Big Tex, please illuminate us.

Do you remember a particular Dallas Maverick who had his closets built to be two feet higher than normal?

No names please...........He was a super nice guy and was always fun to talk to at the dealership. At one of the games he came into the seats and took one of Tony N's kids onto the court with him.........

James, what was the vintage Ferrari open wheel that displayed in the window of NM in about 1998-1999?

I do not know. I went to work for FoD in September of 2000. I know they used Gerhard Bergers F1 car there on display but that does not sound like the car you are asking about........

BTW, did you get your avatar off the photo I inserted in the "Rusty Tempest draws 226,000 on Ebay" thread? Arnie "The Farmer" Beswick. A great Pontiac racer......

James, You are sorely missed by the local Ferrari community. Please try to come to one of the events in the local area so we can catch-up on old times. The spring Boardwalk show/drive or Rob's summer show are always good events. Mark
