No problem! If you hadn't noticed, I kind of like this mystery car thing. Do you have another one?

I took the attached photo in May of 1987 (large format 4x5 black & white, Omega-D
w/210mm Fujinon on Plus-X - for the camera geeks) on a side street in Garibaldi, Oregon.
It's either a car converted to a truck, or was built as a truck. Can't really tell from the
    photo.

I've always wondered what sort of car this once was... it's unique in that the front
is perfectly vertical, made of wood. That should be a good clue I should hope. I'm
sure the poor thing is either long ago taken away, or has simply rotted into the ground
by now. Never made it back down to try to find it again.

    any ideas?

    Thanks

Cool photograph! I wonder what became of that, or if it just sat their and rotted into nothing. Can't help with the car model. Maybe an early Ford?

I'd go with a T of some year also. Lots of them built and many off them customized to whatever the person needed, which appears to be the case here. The radiator shroud, fenders and steering column/wheel are very similar to the ones on my Dad's T's. He has five or six of them and I've done some work on them with him. Very cool photo btw.

Similar to asking an ugly chick at a after you have had a few beers: "Is that your face or did your neck throw up"?

That could be a car done by Extreme.....Last I knew....They completed the car but was asking online for a suitable name for the car...
But don't take me for it as there's been a few similar concepts/variations going around.....

It's definitely a Sterling or some variation of the theme. There were several similar looking cars. I was once into Manta Mirages, so I picked up some knowledge about these in the process. Nothing special really but a Manta is outrageous.

It looks like a knock-off based (loosely) on a Lambo Miura. On your linked pix, the nose badge looks to be taken for a Lambo badge.

    Call it a Lamborgoonie? ;)
    (If it's electric, maybe a Lamborgreenie? :p)

Hell no I'm not sure. My first thought was knockoff Miura, my joke was knockoff Ferrari, it's as ugly as a whore after a good 12 day non-stop work out.
