Anything happening in the morning? I'd been to an event a couple years ago, at a place called "The Commons" (i believe). In Woodland Hills area. Don't know if it's an annual event ?
The "Lentil Soup Run" used to meet there but I believe it's no longer happening. I did the run 3 years in a row and then it disappeared last year or I'm just not getting an invite anymore.
Well, there is the traditional TRE motorsports run. It's mainly Porsche's but there have been known to have a number of Ferrari's that seem to show. It is great fun with some real drivers. They moved to Van Nuys this year. Early morning meet.

Here's the dope on TRE's run. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/showthread.php?t=447048 99% Porsche's, but any marque welcome. They gather at TRE, then go on an 'undisclosed' canyon run (not Malibu). I'd been a couple times, but wanted something mellower (eg Commons, VCR, etc). btw VCR was bumpin' this morning.
I've heard that many groups will be organizing their New Year's Day runs from the Commons in Calabasas, anywhere from 9 to 10 am.
