    But GOD I love the 355. Not a day goes by that I do not think about which car I should replace it with. What about a Vantage convertible? A CS? A Gallardo? A 512TR (I really miss that V12 sound)... I mean, it's just a lowly 355, a thrown-together entry level car when Ferrari needed a winner but had little time. So many problems, it's like a ticking time bomb. And the market is so good for buying...

    And then I get a drive, and I remember why I went back to a 355 after I sold my last one. What a car. The look, the sound, the feel, the sound, the open top, the sound!

    Had to spout off a bit (and I am pretty sure this is the place to do it ;) ) Thanks!

    (don't do that over on the gt forum!!) They would probably throw you out! ;o) Fran and I used to laugh at all the purists over there that would ONLY put a ford motor in a 40. (He posts on here once in awhile if you can catch him) Happy holidays to you sir, Scott

    Love this kind of enthusiasm, a great way to start the year. I hear you about the TR, as much as I like my 328 I just can't seem to get that car out of my head either.     I'm in the same boat, albeit with a 328. I used to be a "serial car buyer", now I don't know. When the car's warmed up, nice road, top off, there really isn't anything else I want in a road car.

    Now, I would love to go vintage racing/touring, so after I get another garage bay... :)

    Good buddy in town has a 328, and I hear what you are saying. It has such a vintage feel but still so responsive, and the motor sounds great in a completely different way. The steering is better than in my car, and the shape is absolutely eternal. I have considered swapping cars with him at times (he is a smidge too big for the 328)!

    Even more interesting, I recently got that vintage racing bug too. Like you, I would probably need another bay, so I found something that I can squeeze in front of the 355. It will be here in a few weeks, ready for next season :)
