Is there an alternative to the I-tunes software?

I am so sick and tired of this crap that Apple forces you to have your device connected to only 1 PC.
Then connecting it to another PC deletes all your photos, photos, and videos.

What other software can I use?

    Thanks,

I'm 99% sure there is no way around only being able to use iTunes on all current iPods and the iPhone. Back about 5 years ago before iPods were big I used Musicmatch or something like that but now Apple only allows iTunes. What are you trying to do that you want to use more than one computer? If you have music on two computers you want on your iPhone you can manually manage your music. To do this all you have to do is connect the iPhone to a computer and once it pops up on iTunes select Manually manage music and videos. But of course by selecting this you have to select the music in your iTunes library and drag and drop it into your iPhone. Once you do this if you dont want to do it manually when you unselect manual sync do it on the computer you want to have your phone synced with.

    Hope this helps

I'm using winamp with an ipod plugin, I use ipod only for songs so don't know if it works for photos, videos. For me it's the best, simple, just select the songs from the playlist and drag and drop into ipod's playlist.
