I always thought they looked squashed in the rear. It'll buff out.

Somebody should tell those guys that if they lowered that ramp, the car would go up onto the truck much easier. Now, the are probably going to have to get out some crow-bars, boards, and concrete blocks and lever that thing up there.

Years ago I had my F355 brought to me by one of these type carriers. I was asking the guy if he ever had any mishaps (after my car was off) and he said it almost happened once. He had a customer drive his car on the lift and he asked him if he had pulled the emergency brake. Customer said yes so up it went and about 2/3 of the way up it starts moving. The thing this guy did was put a stop block at the end before lifting. When it hit the block it stopped. He looked around at the guy and he said the guy was about to black out. Needless to say the truck driver wasn't happy either.

There's a lot of depreciation in that last 0.002 mile.

    Ugh.

But what is amazing is that it looks like it fell some 7-8 ft to the ground, and the rear glass didn't shatter?

Looks like the tailgate extension fell off, with the car on it.

Rear window didn't shatter because it's polycarbonate. The car in question is a GT4, not a regular V8 Vantage.

In the rear, yes. Side and front polycarbonate windows aren't legal.

I doubt even a regular window would shatter; it has a carbon fibre/kevlar crash structure front and rear. These shatter upon imact and diffuse forces efficiently They work amazingly well.
