    AFTER

you will see it in a few month ...

Actually I am planning to find a good moment to paint car, I should receive soon my new 18'' Forgeline wheels ( SP3 with polished rims and brushed center ), I already have my Nardi Classico 390 mm steering wheel, a set of newer Mondial T pop up headlights* ...

    To come:

new adjustable suspension, 18'' tires, and in a few years I will work to ''gently get more HP from my 3,2 engine'' ! and everthing that goes along ...

    * maybe I'll have things to say aout it ;o(

That would be simply fantastic! Maybe this summer coming we'll go to California or Washington DC or Seattle ... Anyways, wherever it will be I'd be very interested!

You are too kind! Thanks! Just can't wait to show you the upcoming mods!

Thanks! According to the folks at Forgeline, I should be the first Mondial owner with them. I am looking forward to post pics ...

A beautiful car in a beautiful city in a beautiful country. The sound is easy enough to tune...
The idea of driving a Mondial Cab through France in the Spring...how classic.

    My ideal mondial is... a Dino 308 GT4! :D

Not that the rear bench is useful for anything other than a couple of bags. When the GT4 was superseeded by the mondial, the first thing they seem to have done is make it a whole lot larger...

Oh, and Hank, it seems that your cat and mine have been in the paint shop at the same time! ;)

Would it be an easy swap to do? That would be awesome ... but lots of tuning ( brakes and so on ... )

For sure! I should receive them within days ...

That would be his father, Admiral Philips' Mondial. You won't meet a classier family. The similarity between his Mondial and my later version is that we will both own ours over 40 years! :)

Salut mangeur de cassoulet! ( with, of course, Toulouse sausage! ) As a redwine afficionado, instead of Toulouse, I'd say Pomerol or St-Émilion are the best city of France!!!

Congrats for your toy! I also read you on Forum Auto par marques! Welcome here, a great community!

    Hello,

In the spirit of this thread, my perfect Mondial would be @ LFSC or Autosports. My perfect date would be Becky Quick @ Serendipity III. And my perfect baseball team would be the 2009 World Champion Chicago Cubs...

    :)

The longer I own one, the perfect Mondial is an 89 Mondial t (your choice, cab or coupe). '89 so it doesnt have the seat belt mice and a bit more room in the rear width. t for the latest and greatest rendition of the Mondial! (more power 300hp, power steering, updated interior (console full up to the dash), dual fuel delivery system, adjustable suspension, and more).

Its very live-able, drives and performs well on a daily use basis, and with a little tweak to the stock exhaust (like replace it)....and it sounds great, too.

(and yep, before anyone says it, Yes it is engine out major, so another $3-4K for that every 3-5 years. IMO worth it for the looks, performance and sound matching the 348 engine).
