Went to FOW today as I took the TR out for a drive, and noticed a Rossa Superamerica in the showroom with a SOLD sticker on it. Is the new owner a member of fchat?

I was there today too. Must have missed you.

Anyway, that car has had a sold sign on it for several months.

It may have been purchased by a local hockey player when I was out there a few months back.

LOL. I'm pretty sure a lot more people show up on Saturday than Sunday (FOW is closed on Sundays I think).

To answer your question more seriously, there is a different mix of people on Saturday than during the week. A lot of us customers come by on Saturday mornings just to say Hi, eat or share pastries, get a free cup of coffee, and look at the latest cars in the showroom and service bays. So, on sunny Saturday mornings, you can expect to find a few customer Ferraris in the parking lot.

People also bring their families in to look at the exotic cars more on Saturday afternoons and window shop. Kind of a free museum attraction. If they buy anything, it will be something from the Ferrari shirts or models displays. the FOW staff is normally pretty friendly towards these families. All they ask is that you not leave your children unattended and don't sit in the cars and play with the steering wheel / horn / electric seats / etc. unless you're actually considering buying one.

The people during the week are often more focused on doing business, checking prices, getting their cars serviced, etc.

Yes, very nice looking car. And I bet it handles well at the track too.

Back in March 2004, I went to an FOW social event where one of the real 250 GTO's was there (the blue one with the yellow stripe) and also a very nice red 250 California. Here are a couple of small blurry pics of those cars (sadly I had one of those cheap pocket-sized digital cameras back then that did a terrible job in low light situations).
