I disagree based on my experience. Culture has a lot to do with it. Some cultures, it's accepted. Some it is not.
Gentlemen: Brush up on your spanish and portuguese, south america particularly Argentina & Brazil is where you want to be. You don't have all the baggage of the far east. And if things really do get serious spend time talking to the INS personel at our embassy. Knowing what our laws are beforehand will save an immense amount of time and aggrievation. As a previous post said you do not want to get on the wrong side of the INS.
From my experience US women tend to be pretty boring in bed, not willing to do laundry, cook, clean house. Buy into PC Fem Nazi BS, in essence nowhere near enough return on your investment. US women are 4f as far as I am concerned a good Argentine women will cook, clean, pamper you, but they are very jealous and insecure, so get ready for drama In Argentina you have women from Buenos Aires who have a much lower ROI than women from the provinces who will do a lot more to make you happy Brazilian women are hot, spicey, adventurous, and will take care of the house etc but again, jealous and insecure and get ready for drama but both Arg and Braz women have a much higher ROI than US women
Yes absolutely do NOT get attached to them or your'e done its best to live on your own and have 3 or 4 chicks to rotate on a weekly basis any more than that is too much work
Yeah, I totally agree! My current girlfriend (37) wears that **** all the time, granted it's more "casual" here in austin, then dallas but come on. Ridiculous. And yeah she's American an ultra-conservative, rather boring in bed. Total workaholic, alcoholic, makes good money ($150K), but has some serious commitment issues among other things, along with the Princess fantasy. She's been proposed to like 10 times already, haha I know she's the used to be super-hot model material 10 years ago but now is looking like an above average cute chick, with perfect man made 34C's. Definitely not wife material, at least not for me. But the upside is that I'll be moving to Italy in May, so things will be quite different there. And those women know how to dress! Regarding brazilians, dated one, and although she was an excellent lover, there was alot of drama with her and all her crazy brazilian friends. Some of the best looking women I have seen, where from Chile, just walking down the street 70% could be a playmate, and they don't wear makeup! Nice!
American chicks probably dont like traveling bcus they have a vague clue that foreign chicks are hotter, sexier, and better and they are correct
I couldn't have said it better myself1 If you read that post then you will know what just about 70% of Chinese/Japanese really are.
There is one thing that I would like to add to this thought that I have learned from my wife and other Chinese married couples. It is something called "losing face". It means that if you can't make something work, then you have failed. This includes everything from being married to you're job. The worst thing any Chinese/Japanese girl can do is have to go back to her homeland and face people that she knew and tell them that they failed, being 2nd best isn't good enough. I think it is a great way to think and I try and use it every day at my job and other things that I do. I have learned a lot of good things from being married to a Chinese girl.
I am trying to think of a way that I could explain everything without writing a book here, so please bare with me, I guess these are the most interesting points that I have learned about being married to my wife, who is Chinese. The first thing that I learned is that family is number 1. My wife talks to her mom and dad on Yahoo with a web cam about 5 days out of the week and they always have something to talk about, they laugh and carry on just as if they were here with her. That in it self really amazes me, if I tried to call my mom and dad every day my dad would ask me what in the hell is wrong with you, don't you have anything better to do...lol...lol... I just don't have that much to talk to my parents about, I still love the hell out of them, but we just don't talk every day of the week. Jennifer can't understand how I can go without talking to them for 2 or even 3 weeks sometimes. My wife is as strong as a piece of steel, there really isn't to much that will upset her unless it has to do with her family in China or her family here. She can take anything that I can dish out to her and then some and trust me, I am not the easiest person in the world to live with. We fight and sometimes we say a lot of things that we would rather not say but we never go to bed mad at each other. She is a great worker, I am sure you guys know how good Asians are at working...lol...lol... She would work 8 days a week if she could and not care a bit about it. She is great at her job and is always looking for ways to improve herself and her present job. She gives all of her customers her cell phone number in case they have any problems they can call her, she works at Haynes by the way, and she will contact the people to take care of them. She is a great person who never ceases to amaze me with things that I learn from her, like being 2nd best. It isn't in her thoughts, it is 1st or nothing. I think that is one of the most important things that I have learned from her and I try and use it each and every day, especially at work. I have learned to be, how should I say this, quicker at doing things. I used to wait and do things when I was ready to do them, now I try and do things as soon as I am told, especially if she tells me to do it...lol... If not, she will bug me and bug me and bug me until I do it, and I am sure you guys know how that feels. I guess these are the main points that I can safely say are true to all Chinese girls that I have met and who we are friends with.
Sounds very nice. Do you (the people here in general) think that the women of Korea, Japan, China, ect. are different from each other?
They're certainly different cultures, so there would be differences. But the question would be how many of the differences a westerner would detect. One thing that surprised me, in retrospect perhaps shouldn't have. In an online chat room a while back, a Latvian model mentioned that she had been to NYC and didn't like it, because there were "too many black and asian people". I've heard similar comments from people in other former satellite nations. The former Soviet Bloc (outside of Great Russia, at least) seems to have missed the civil rights movement of the '60s, in the US. Oddly enough, people in Russia itself seem to be far more familiar with western history from the last few decades than those in the satellite countries. All of which makes me wonder about the foreign brides web sites where women with kids are looking abroad. Can you imagine taking a 10 year old out of the FSU and dropping him/her into a US school? Yikes. But one hint for the foreign brides sites: take the porno site logos off the photos before posting them as "your" picture. (And just how many 20 year old "lawyers" are there in Russia, these days? ) (Those sites are always good for a laugh.)
A guy who works with me has a wife from the Philippines. She's from a poor, small island there. They met in Hong Kong. He gave up on his American wife many years ago and now they've been happily married for 5 years with 2 kids. So, it can work. He's very happy. The only downside: she doesn't drive. The upside to the downside: She can't crash his car!
I'd like to move to France once I graduate college, if I'm lucky perhaps I can find a hot wife over there. I just hope France has at least a few women who DON'T think Americans are idiots. I was in Toulon a few years back, and the first bar a buddy and I walk into, a gal and her friend come up to us and wanted us to whip out our credit cards and buy them some champagne. Unfortunately for them, we were already briefed on how you get shafted for several hundred bucks or more. I can't imagine falling for some tramp with that kind of low ethic, but then again I won't have any way of knowing all her secrets.
So is marriage really even worth it today? Do other countries and cultures (Arab, Indian, Europe, Asia, ect.) see it marriage in a different way? Do we, as Americans, make the concept of marriage more than it really is?
Aren't all wimmenfolk "foreign"? Ain't a man figured one out yet. Women are insects from another planet. Their motivations and operations are different from ours. William Borroughs- Naked Lunch
I was offered $10K cash plus all expense's paid just to go to China in '04 to get a girl into the US by marrying her, she was hot as I saw a pick the grandmother showed me, but common sense intervened and I'm glad. Now at 44yr's old I have a very beautiful, inside aswell as the outside, 21yr old keeping me company. Will it workout who know's but I have not been this happy in along time, the Lord work's in mysterious way's.
Got married in her country. We technically can and do live in both, but our primary domicile is in Canada. As our countries have reciprocal tax treaties (very important for later on) we made sure we registered each other accordingly as ex-pats (me there, her here) for when we move back to Brasil. We go there 2-3 times a year for 2-3 weeks at a time. In the interim MSN messenger with our webcam works wonders for communicating with her family. Learning a second language/culture and prepping oneself to become a citizen of another country is very interesting and eye opening. I have never been happier in my life.........
