17 races, alot in far out places I'm toying with the idea of going to SPA, to probably meet and greet Penciled necked lightweight resident excellent contributor on this forum SRT mike..

I don't see any F1 track here in my room, but if they decide to race between my bed and my couch, you're all invited to come and watch


Joking aside, F1 leaving Europe for the benefit of places where the locals aren't even interested can't be good for the sport... but we discussed that already...

 

I might end up going to the Canadian or US. OH WAIT THEY AREN'T ON THE CALENDAR ANYMORE, dumb Bernie Ecclestone.

 

My buddy in England and I are making plans to go to Turkey and possibly Brazil. Does anyone have any hotel recommendations for either?

 

Hey Steve - come to the LMS Spa!! This is our second year in a row with NO F1 races in the making. Lots of $$ for only being able to sit in one place; short races, nothing for the fans..etc. We're doing the sports car route again this year and will watch and cheer for MANY FERRARIS that provide some awesome racing. We're headed to Sebring, LMS Barcelona, LMS Spa, 24H LeMans, FIA-GT 24H Spa, LMS Portugal, ALMS Limerock, Road America, Petit and Laguna Seca, LMS Silverstone is a ? Whew!

I'll be at Spa, most likely If you decide "for sure" to do Spa, Steve, let me know where you're gonna be at. I was thinking Eau Rouge high up so I can get some pics of the fear in Massas eyes as he realizes he's not cut out for this job

 

Germany, Hungary(for the wife) and probably SPA, Monaco or Spain as outside shots.

 

Ha ha the thought of a just one F1 car in your room at engine at full tilt is funny..

 

Carol, sounds much better value for money I can't argue with that, but hell I haven't got that much time working for a living, you sound like you have a really good time, one day when I have made enough $$ I will do the sports car route it's sounds brilllant.

Going to the European GP in Valencia.

I found a lovely hotel within walking distance of the track. This will be the poor man's Monaco.

I am with Steve... a lot of this is going to depend on how business looks this year. I get nervous when the economy is tight... I have a couple of trips already planned but if time and business permits, I'd love to add Spa.

 

I'll be in Monaco, with the wife and kids.

Would love to go to Spain and Australia. Not sure yet--my wife does not want to fly to Aus.

 

Monaco for the 4th year straight. Maybe I'll watch the race live if I'm not too hung over.
