That was what we called one of my cousins and for the same reason. He later won fame for killing several men in a bar room brawl. My nickname has been Jer bear for as long as I can remember.
Had the nickname Base for awhile back in the day..A reference to Rob Base since my name is Robbie...Have some childhood friends who still call me Base when they see me...
In school me and 4 other guys always hung out together. 4 of us where friends and the other just tagged along. No one really liked him (chris)...Me and Tom (friend)used to rip the piss out of him so badly, incredibly cruel jokes (ie found a remote control for a stereo once in a class room, and chris sat next to it. Turn the volume up and kept turning it on from about 20 feet away from him...he got to write a lot of lines for the next day). Called him pretty funny names (to us, anyways). ~He kinda brought it on himself sometimes but it doesnt matter. I got nick names to sometimes. Was last known as Crazy Dutch Bastard, started at the rugby club and kinda carried on and everyone called me that.
