    I've been looking for a yellow F355 and finally found a 98 GTS at the end of December. I was able to get the car's original records including exhaust manifold replacements at 17k and 38k (looks like both were under warranty?), cats and clutch were replaced. I had a PPI done by a dealership and the compression tests turned out OK.

    The car transport just showed up from California. Here are some photos.

    Now I can't wait until the roads clear up before I start driving it.

    beautiful!!! congrats!! im not sure what's worse....growing up dreaming of owning a ferrari, or finally getting one and having to wait for streets to drive it...

    please post pictures when ya get it safely parked or once ya hit the streets!

    Congratulations, for my personnal taste I would just paint the roof in yellow! And please put winter tires on it.. :)

    Love them delivery pictures man. It must be so cool having a Ferrari deliverd by truck:) Never had that done my self must feel great. Makes me want to sell one just to have a new one deliverd in a truck:D

    I'm in the same position. New, to me, Spyder with a couple feet of snow on the ground. It's okay. I:
    Make sure the battery tender is connected.
    Think about leatherique treating the leather, but then decide I better wait for it to be warmer outside. Otherwise I will set the car on fire with a space heater.
    Play the stereo.
    Clean the exterior.
    Plan trip to the mechanic for pre-season work, make list.

    Agree looks weird with black top, but what material is the top? is it a common mod to paint match the gts top?

    Yes, I am planning on painting the GTS roof, but it's made of some matte black plastic material.

    Does anyone know if that can be sanded down so that it matches the rest of the car? I've tried painting plastic parts like the lower bumper sills but the color does not turn out exactly the same.

    Yes, it was a great post-Christmas present seeing the car delivered.

    Congratulations, reminds me of my yellow 355 being delieverd around the same time of year. 5 years strong and still get the special feeling when I start her up.
