Any news of that car ?
The latest info i have on that car is that it was for sale in september 2005 in Florida, nothing since. Olivier
A little searching here on F-chat turns up s/n 132648 is Don Wallace's former car, and an early Enzo crash (as you mention). NNO should know more, since he mentions here that it was spotted at Cavallino in 2005, completely fixed. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hey, that's the car that I did the retro-bondo photoshop resto on a few years ago: Image Unavailable, Please Login
Are you sure 100 % Someone in the USA has just proposed me it for sale, and I was very reluctant cause of the "low" price...
more than 100%, the car is not in the USA! Save yourself $$$ and walk away unless the 'seller' offers to show you the car... ...In London Best Michael James
Can you translate that for us non-French-speaking folk...? Mike, can you tell us more...? When the car arrived in London, why someone in London bought a smacked-up US-spec car, etc....?
As I understand he says the car was delivered new and was involved in an accident after just 101miles, he has a copy of an invoice or a recipt? Then it was sold to 'Executive Auto Brokers KETCHUM - OK 74349-0127 ' he has to know where it is. Well it is in the UK. NNO, It got to London years ago, and why would someone buy a 'smacked up usa spec car'? Well it was repaired to a high standard by a US dealer, and at the end of the day it must have been a steal and it remains an Enzo.... Best Michael James
Gentlemen I bought the Enzo. It is in my collection and not for sale. Whoever is purporting to sell it in the US is obviously a fraudster. Regards
What Id like to know is whether the car was sent back to the factory after that accident for the tub to be replaced...?
Here we go.... Iceman, welcome back. Please try to ignore the usual bull****. SOME of us really appreciate your contributions
I've been sent 7 pages for 4 invoices from Ferrari Shetton, in Fort Lauderdale - FL. The car was in on the 07/19/03, and ready on the 12/29/04. No trace of chassis repair. One of the invoices shows a 80,000 $ amount. Other invoices have been the amount cancelled. I've also the copy of the Oklahoma rebuilt title showing an inspection at only 414 miles, issued 05/23/05. I wonder how this jerk has got all these documents...
Sir, Per respect for you and your car, do you want us to close that topic ? You saved the car, I saved my money. I needed, I can send you a copy of the infos I've got, maybe to complete the gistory of your baby.
I think as a favour to the community, and returning the courtesy that has saved you so much possible trouble, you should expose this "seller". At the very least try to see what his game is, and why he is in possession of these docs, and what he is trying to do with them. It could save somebody like yourself, a lot of trouble down the line.....
I have no issues with this thread. The car was repaired by Shelton, it was sold to me by a CEO of a Miami Property company who spared no expense in having the car repaired. It is a wonderful drive, I have had at over 200mph and it feels just as solid as my 08 black car. It is a perfect example in every way. FYI tub was not damaged, it looks a lot worse than it was, even then my man put in new looms and changed every part and went to the nth degree in the repair. Just under 1000 miles now, however will be closer to 3000 or more by the end of the year as I plan to use it throughout Europe as much as I can. In as far as this person purporting to sell the car, cant see how they would get past that final hurdle of extracting the money without a physical car, must be chasing a deposit, who knows? Good to be back. Iceman
If Shelton repaired it Im sure they did a great job. My comments about the tub were pure sarcasm based on another thread where some silly suggestions were made that every Enzo bumped needs to "go back to the factory". Good for you for enjoying it. You're happy, and thats all that matters...
