After much frustration contacting Jaeger LeCoultre directly and speaking with Tourneau(bought it there many years ago) I'm here to ask a question. Are any of you here certified repair folks for Jaeger LeCoultre. The reason, the main spring broke on my Reverso and they will not sell one to me or my watchmaker friend who is repairing it. Any advice/help would be appreciated. Yes I'm trying to bypass the service center in NYC and the $500+ expense to make a simple repair.

Call Borsheims in Omaha. They have a guy (former Rolex guy) that does all non warranty service, and they are a JLC authorized dealer.

This is not unusual behavior. Try buying an Omega Speedmaster Display back-- there is a whole black market for them.

Ahhh...Warren Buffett's place (at least it used to be). That would lead me to assume that it's a quality place. Haven't been there in years.
