Don't worry Matt, just a little joking between friends. We all spent some time together last year sightseeing at some different tracks, unfortunately the sightseeing was generally limited to the very well groomed Boardwalk race trailer and perfectly prepared 430 Challenge race cars but we did get out on occasion to sample the local fair and do a little bench racing.

Welcome to Ferrarichat and don't hesitate to call if we can help you in any way.

That was my little joke about the Challenge Team - I don't think that anyone does take into consideration that we have a team when getting their street car repaired.
I do think that we have a very good group of Techs here at the dealer that are just as good as anyone out there.
I've known James at Norwoods and Mike at Lambo for years and know they are among the top Techs in the Country, if not the world, when it comes to Italian cars.
I don't think our floors sparkle all that much, but they are just as clean as Norwoods and Lambo's...

lol. got it. funny to see what user names are attached to what establishments.

Do you guys do racing and track days other than challenge races? I probably won't track my 360 much, but my japanese race car could keep up with the italian cars if given the opportunity.

being new to texas, I'm still trying to find the right crowds to hang around when it comes to track rats. ;)

    Best,
    Matt

I think we've all been known to attend a variety of other racing and track days at times, however, one of the rules in Texas is that japanese race cars (what do you have, by the way?) aren't allowed the opportunity to hang around Italian cars at the race track........

    and if you believe that....

haha. well it gets worse. its not just japanese, its a miata.

I am trying to dumb it down to run in ST2 with NASA. It was/is my "time attack" car from last season. 1930lbs, all carbon body, 240 rwhp on low boost. 403 rwhp in full boogie mode. :) Set class track records at buttonwillow, miller motorsports park, and St Louis' roval last year.

So while it may be a little gay hairdresser's car, it still has fun embarassing some big american iron and the like. :)

I accept your challenge for the "big American Iron". All in good fun. I hope to make it out to one of the coffee/cruise days soon.

I only have six cylinder though....and 3550 lbs to tote with it.
