hey guys, looking for a good high end audio installer for the new M3 in MA. any suggestions? thanks for any info
there's a few: http://www.myspace.com/advancedaudiodesigns and www.luxurydetails.net when i get time and the weather clears up i'll one of them do my avic install
Matt at LuxryDetails in Framingham did the system in my new-to-me old benz. I've been very happy with it. He's a good guy. Feel free to email me for more data or an email intro. Doody
Stu, I recommend AVI in Newton. They are one of the best in town for high-end cars: http://www.aviboston.com/ Safi, the owner, is very patient and a big BMW fan. They have a sick 7-series they just did, and have a red Z8 currently in the shop. I just spoke with him this week about installs for my X5. They do BMWs, Ferraris, and all the Aston Martin dealer install work go their direction. Safi is a big bike fan as well, sporting a Ducati. http://www.aviboston.com/staff.html
I would also recommend AVI in Newton. They did my Valentine One install on my E46 M3 and came out great. However, there is a shop even better than them in my opinion! It's a little bit of a drive but they do by far the best audio install work on the east coast. They have won tons of top installer awards and they did a complete install of a sound system in my m3. The system came out amazing and if I had any problems with it, I just brought it to them and they'd fix it no problem. I also ordered a set of iforged rims and toyo tires through them for a great price. This shop is top quality man, but its located in NH. www.wickedCAS.com
How have you been, J? You still cruising the Starbucks on Newbury St.? Nazar, Justin, and Team does a fine job at Wicked C.A.S. It is a trek to get out there, but could well be worth it. They did a great install on my fiancee's car. Keep us posted, and this thread is worthless without photos of your new ride!
I would also recomend AVI in Newton or Sound in Motion in Boston near Herb Chambers. Both quality shops that know their ways around M3s very well.
Toshiba, Silk55 and Doody thanks for recommending me! If you have any questions please dont hesitate to email me at [email protected] . We can definitely do something in your M, we just finished up a custom video install in a Bentley Continental flying spur and a 2005 E55 Wagon with a complete stealth system install. We have a 09 M3 coming in tomorrow for a Escort 9500 custom installed radar system and are currently working on a porsche 928S. Thanks, Matt
I would also recomend Luxury Details... they helped me with my M3... were one of the only shops interested in doing a double din install on my E46 M3... that I spoke with... I ended up doing a single din flip out Alpine screen, still have my steering wheel controls, Blue tooth, BlackBird Navi... I also have some time scheduled for my 65 GTO to go there and will be bringing my M3 back for a set of Focal 6.5 components, 12" JL W6v2(already have the sub) and I think Alpine 5chan amp... Great pricing too...
Sorry for the late response, but I would second either of these guys. The McLaren on his myspace is a friend of mine's and it sounds great. I saw the work Luxury did and I like them too.
Hello Toshiba, Here is a article about Advanced Audio on a SL600 that we recently finished if you would like to read it to see what we are all about. We also do all the dealer work for Ferrari of New England on a regular basis. http://www.caraudiomag.com/features/caep_0810_advanced_audio_designs_mercedes_benz_sl600/index.html The SL600 is at the shop now and if anyone would like come down to see it as well as listen to it they are more than welcome to.
We were also featured in the same car audio magazine issue as Advanced for a G55 that we did, from one installer to another your work is excellent. http://www.caraudiomag.com/features/caep_0810_luxury_details_2003_g55_amg_mercedes_benz/index.html
