If the quality of the restoration on the '66 e-type was as represented, it was a steal.

I'll try not to think about the 275GTS I turned down 7 years ago at $145K. We'll see if this one pulls over $500K.....

$31.5 mm in sales. Without running through the math, it seemed like most cars were stalling 15-20% below the low estimate. Not a crash, but stronger than I was expecting. I'm sure some of the no sales will close shortly.

For my money, the 275GTS - if they trend down to high 200's - will be great value, usable, rare and very Ferrari. Killer value.
But first it has to get there

It's been tremendous fun following this auction. My internet link in the bush of Africa wasn't quite quick enough but I could still follow it which is amazing in itself.

How many sold, if they sold, under the low estimate? I'm guessing 60 - 70%?

I'm wondering the same thing, I'd like to know what the 288GTO was going for or even if it sold.
