Then have a Poll and don't list Ferrari, ala 'If Ferrari did not exist, what would be your favorite team ?' Most of my 'all-time' favorite teams don't exist anymore. Most were not huge winners, but I like personalities of an entire team over a team of high success. Matra, March, Spirit, Minardi, Ligier, Toleman (before Bennetton), but I also liked Alfa, Lotus, Brabham. There are a lot of teams I liked before the 20,000 RPM cars of today, but that's just me, stuck in the 80's with a turbo car...
I'm really surprised to see Ferrari at only about 75%. I will also throw up another poll for favorite f1 team other than Ferrari.
Surprising yes, but it speaks for the folks on here. Although I voted for Ferrari, it would have been a bit sad if everybody had voted just for Ferrari. We wouldn't be having any meaningful discussions if it wasn't for a few folks with other opinions. PS: To me the team question is really not that important anyway. I support a particular driver, which ideally is a Ferrari driver. I realize that was one option in the poll.
What would happen if all of your favorite drivers took a sabbatical, and two drivers you didn't much care for jumped into the red cars ?? But I know what you mean: in 1983 I liked Derek Warwick when he was driving the Toleman, then he was replaced in 1984 by some rookie, and I didn't much care for Warwick when he was in the Renaults.. I liked HIM, but not in THAT car...
Ferrari.. Tifosi for life. I also like Torro Rosso because the bull paint job rocks. Oh and they use of Ferrari engines. Although I don't think they are Ferrari powered this year?
Look, I have endured Massa all these years and I'm still following F1. Does that answer your question?
