You have a great combo and I would`t trade both for one only both for other 2!
If your main concern is with lowering your monthly payments, then I'd say consolidating both cars for the Gallardo won't be that bad of a trade off.
I have been checking few Gallardos and i must correct my opinion little bit. With right color and nice wheels the car looks sick!
Yea I agree I have best of both worlds, M6 great car, drives smooth relaxing, fast 360 - with Capristo exhaust straight up attention grabber. Daily driver, Jeep Whats my favorite car right now: The Jeep *** What do you guys THINK of 2003 Murcielago?
03 Murcie is an amazing looking car! And next to an 2002 Arnage, one of the best deals in the premium car marketplace, IMO. Just know you are in for lots of trips to the dealer, as I have been told by many. Looking for someone to dispute this feedback. Bora
The two cars are completely different. I prefer the 360 as it is more elegant and seems less plastic-key in the interior.
If you check Lambo forums, you will find completely different opinion about Murcie reliability Mostly what is said is that its very reliable car, much more reliable than 360 for example.
The 360 interior is lackluster with even tan leather and down right terrible in black leather and aluminium trimming. Interior looks like a car from the 1980's almost, it's so outdated. That is the worst part of the 360. The F430 interior looks much more suited for what a ferrari should be even with not having a navigation screen it still looks superb, and up to date.
I recently traded my 08 911S and 06 Vantage for an 05 F430. I looked at the Lambo, drove an 06, 08, and LP560. I also drove a 360. My father has a M6 I have driven many times. Of all these cars I think you would be happiest with a F430. It has a better transmission than the bimmer, the 360, and the pre LP560 Gallardos. The prices have dropped recently, so you may be able to pick up a 430 in your budget. I would not consider any Lambo older than 06.
The LP560 is in a completely different league than the 08 and earlier Gallardo. Better E-gear, more powerful, smoother ride, better interior. I did not get a chance to really push the car since it was brand new and the delaer had just got it in, but mechanically it feels like a much better car than the old Gallardos, and as good if not a little better than the F430. I think in 2 years a used LP560 will be "the car" for the money. I would have purchased one if there were any used ones on the market.
SE's are no different that any other 06's minus the paint. They also can be bought for $120 to $140k. An M6 or 3 and a 360 you should get a Super Leggera. Those are special cars with barand new ones being offered for $180k. Ones with 5k miles for around $160k. SE should not stand for Special Edition IMO
I really really wish they improved the rear end of the lp560.. LOVE the front.. the rear end is supremely dissapointing..
NO!!! im not a fan of the new "german" lambos...they may be more reliable than the old ones and all but....The main problem i have with the new lambos are the doors are broke...they open like a corvette! haha.... I am a big fan of the countach and diablo...which scream LAMBO...the gallardo is not wide enough...and doesnt sound quite right for an italian sports car...its to low key. -what you need to do is trade the 360 and M for a 360 stradale! there is so much more that goes along with that little horse on the hood than that little bull on the hood
I'll agree the rear-end could have been done better, but overall LP560 is a great car and represents another big step forward for Lamborghini. I"m thrilled the factory is building better, faster and more reliable cars. I've got an '06 G-Spider which I not only drive daily, but I love every much as my '07 F430... as I've said before, it's a different kind of love Our local Lambo dealer brought a new LP560 to one of our Saturday AM gatherings and others with pre-LP560 Gallardos drove it and wished they hadn't... it's that much better a car than the pre'08 Gallardo. I didn't drive it for exactly this reason! And anyone who things Audi's influence on Lamborghini is bad isn't really thinking the situation through. No one except the most dedicated of Lamborghini owners would buy a pre-Audi influenced Lamborghini. They were the true definition of the old-school super-car... unreliable, expensive to fix and in the end you developed a love-hate relationship with the car. There wasn't a chance in hell that I'd buy a Lambo... much less drive it daily as recently as 6 years ago. Lamborghini has come a long way and I can't wait to see what they do next.
I agree, as an owner of 2 360's a 575, and a 430, as well as a M6, I am very impressed with the Gallardo. My car has updated egear, hamaan side skirts and a lp560 front bumper. Lamborghini put a 75lb exhaust (mine has be changed) that did not allow the car o reach its full potential, and once you remove it and bmc filters, and better plugs the car really wakes up. Lower it about an inch and it is glued to the road in a way ever my 430 could not match.
had a gallardo spyder. the car looks great at first. but honestly, i wont trade a 355 for it. just my idea. i hated how it drive comparing with ferrari
Came very very close to purchasing 06 Gallardo. Really do like the car and believe me it is what turned me on to another exotic car purchase as was down on Ferrari since the TR purchase in 88. But when it came time to pull the trigger it was Ferrari # 5 ,the ( Modena 360F1 instead of Lambo because Ferrari is the true Italian Stallion, it has and always has had a racing history mixed with a sensual body. Lambo = Flash: Ferrari = Machine. Neither is a drag machine, if you want that buy a ZR1 or a Viper! Nothing wrong with that as I currently own a Viper that I WILL NEVER SELL. Docf
