My daughter is almost 12. The greatest joy I can imagine would be seeing her drive the car like that. And the best place to see happen is from the passenger seat.

I was cringing at the way she slammed through the gears and had to look down every time she shifted; also didn't heel and toe or double de-clutch on the down shift...tsk, tsk, glad it wasn't MY gearbox.

What can't you do in your Ferrari?

Have a bad day. Hop in the Ferrari and go for a long drive, now the day doesn't seem so bad, does it.

Complain about gas prices with a straight face.

Worry about back seat drivers. (I mean really, even you 2+2 guys can't put an adult back there.)

    Sweat the little stuff.

    List goes on and on.

So have I - but I wouldn't let them drive any of my cars, let alone the F-car!

Some observations: Lousy hand position, one hand on the wheel most of the time, crossed up in corners. Stupid shoes! Pornstar shoes have their place, but driving isn't it... H& T would be amusing with the heels. No attempt to change down smoothly, or even match revs. She doesn't know where the gearlever is. Riding the clutch between changes. Takes her eyes off the road way too much.

Basically, she can't drive a manual car for nuts - nice legs though, if a bit skinny.

I suppose that's what makes this board - and the world - so diversely wonderful. I've had my fair share of tawdry, lubricious trysts. But I'd take a drive in a Ferrari over any of those, any day. :)

No time like the present to start teaching her...!

I didn't think she slammed through the gears. But I don't double de-clutch on downshifts either. Granted, my Jetta is no Ferrari, but even in Ferraris, I've never double-clutched.

Just to add a bit: No seat belt & she slams the door. Also, from what I can see/hear ( bearing in mind that the soundtrack is probably edited) instead of changing down she just keeps her foot on the clutch. There are a few videos in this series, all of them badly driven. One has a Fiat Abarth 695 (Kerri, help me here) that is comical..

Although you can't see his feet, compare this with the video of Riccardo Patrese frightening his wife - a professional driver. Mind you, Bonnie is a lot more attractive than Riccardo....

There are plenty of girls who can drive properly....just goes to show; short skirt/long legs does not make a competent driver, despite the other attractions - I'm sure you young guys will disagree...

Well I'm sure it wasn't meant to be an instructional video LOL! And I shouldn't be so picky, maybe it was her first time in the car... I doubt I want to see the 695 being driven similarly though (ouch!) Love the Patrese video, especially since I've been learning Italian and can pick up up a few of Mrs P's phrases. You guys can have Bonnie, I'd settle for passengering with Mr P any time!
