Can't help you with a workaround, but I also found the Daytonas in my F430 Coupe way too high.

Is the problem that the seated position is too high or that you're too tall and don't fit in the stock seat?

Had the same issue with my last 360 so I put in c/f sport seats and loved them. I assume they make a sport seat for the 430?

When I bought my 360, it had manual Daytona seats. When I complained that I wanted electric, I was told the manual sit lower and were therefore prefered by some drivers. Don't know if there's any merit to this.

Yes, I have tried all adjustments. I didn't spot the "width adjustment" until after a couple days, but once I got that the seats are awesome. It makes my GT-R or M5 feel like a living-room couch in comparison.

I'm 178cm (5'10") but short-leg and long-torso so am "tall when sitting down," so maybe I need the head-room of someone who's 188cm (6'2") or so.

Y'know, i felt the same way, but now that this thread is started, its bugging me again. i'm 6'0'' and it just seems high. My head can hit the roof at the door opening. I'm going to watch this thread as i'd love to lower the seats just a bit.

the more you sit in them, the more they wear in, the cushier they become, the more you sink ;) ;)

Mine are fine for normal driving, but when I'm on the track with the helmet on my head strikes the top of the drivers door framing. I am looking into a possible replacement with Ferrari racing buckets, but I'm afraid of the cost. Somewhere on this site is a break down of the seat height for all the different Ferrari seats. I have seen it, but can't find it anymore.
