Unfortunately no photos, but I remember coming out of an AF dining-in wearing my white mess dress and finding 4" of fresh snow in Clovis, NM, elevation 4295', in 1977 or so. I had driven my 1972 Dino 246 GT to the dining-in and, luckily, it had nearly new XWXs. Turns out they make a pretty good snow tire and the Dino had good weight distribution for traction. Possibly had a bit too much to drink, not a big deal in the olden days, but the Rosso Dino coupe never set a foot wrong and kept me from getting into trouble.

Not so sure I would want to try that now with 434 ft lbs of torque through Pirelli P Zeros, which do not work in cold temperatures and do not have a tread pattern conducive to snow traction. Plus the cops now have no sense of humor.

From what I understand, it was a freak snow storm. I don't think they expected it...let alone are prepared for it.

Let's show the poor sod some clemency.

    Why?
A lot of people in London don't have off street parking so you have to leave your Ferrari by the side of the road

If you feel leaving your Ferrari in the snow is no big deal to you, that's fine, however I choose to show more respect for my car.

This 308 GTS has been left outside, rain or shine (or snow), for years now.
It sits in front of a foreign car repair garage near where I live.
I was driving by a few weeks ago and took this pic as it started to snow.

I don't know why anyone would leave a Ferrari outside.
