I have one that looks the same but with slightly different numbers N. 04.5.9638.02-II/88 Mine is in Italian. Is yours English? If so I would be interested in purchasing. I believe I have almost every European and North American magazine article ever written re. the 8.32 (available in English), but I am unfamiliar with the LMC (UK) material. Please pm me re. purchase and i will respond with contact info. etc.
Thanks Rocco We will have to go driving in the spring....I still would like a ride in your Testarossa...thinking of getting one myself in the spring in time for the spring run with Brett. Beev
Thank you. Here is another youtube link for more sound (bad visuals so close your eyes and watch!) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GCzFL7Sb-C8&feature=channel_page cheers Beev
My brochure is totally in English (not 3 languages). I used to be the USA membership agent for the LMC. I have all of the club material from 1976-2005. I'll see if I can draw up a list of 8.32 articles here in the home library, in case I have something you might like to see. My computer is too old and slow to watch youtube stuff.

I remember Joe Marchetti(CHR) used to have one of these. I saw it parked in front of the Como Inn on Milwaukee Avenue several times in the late 1980's. It sounded great. Tom Tanner/Ferrari Expo 2009 model contest and photography/art display-Chicago April 25th 2009
Great car! Thanks for sharing all those videos, the sound is amazing! I'm planning on getting one when I've finished university in a year or so. One question that I couldn't find an answer to: What about its drinking habits?
Drinks about the same as a first year university student! If you drive it the way an enthusiast should drive it, you will need to know where all the fuel stations are. cheers Beev
I had a header off recently and they are insulated and wrapped in metal. Are there any other cars that have headers treated like this?? Image Unavailable, Please Login
That car is beautiful!!! I too lusted after one of these back in the '80s, but never to be as not imported to the US. The Alfa Romeo was a viable alternative, but as a Ferrari fan, I never wanted the contingency prize (although I'd love an Alfa now - go figure!). What's interesting is the lower sound it makes compared to the 308. I wonder why? Is it the exhaust? Can you give us an idea of what you paid for it? If these start becoming available in the US, I might look for one. **** EDIT - I believe I know why - it's due to the 90 degree crank as opposed to the 180 degree crank on the 308. Interestingly, some of these engines were assembled by Ducati from Ferrari castings!!
Correct... and i have changed the muffler to a flow thru type to add a couple of decibels and a couple of extra ponies. ...and yes Ducati assembled a few of the later series two engines...I have looked at them and see no difference from mine. Lovely car, interior is really fabulous, seems to be better quality than the Alfa 164. Question, where do you get parts
There are a number of parts sources in Europe, nothing on this side of the pond. I am lucky to live close to Gran Turismo for my service...those guys have taken a real interest in this car, doing its first "F major service" since coming to Canada.
Had her out of winter storage for a little exercise... almost forgot how much i love this car... hit 4500 RPM and she kicks in like a turbo and pulls super hard right to 7500...all from a boxy little sedan!
