Hey guys, does anyone know if the non challenge cars are able to accept a rear tow hook? meaning is the area tapped for the hook on all cars in the rear just as the front? many thanks

thanks for the reply Robbie. I know where they *should* go but mine doesnt have a hole in the bumper neither.. I want to know if anyone knows if under the bumper, is there a tapped area for the threads? I posted a thread in the Challenge section asking for the measurement for how high above the tailpipe the hole is. but was wondering if for a muffler change or whatever, has anyone removed there rear bumper and seen the threaded hole for the hook.. (calling Uconn Husky- a little help please)thanks again

Same here, no cutout in my bumper and I don't see any threads hiding behind there either.

CH cars had a threaded bung plate welded to rear sub-structure for rear tow hook....just weld one into your car if u want a rear tow hook.

So you carry a tow hook ad a cordless drill? White size bit should I toss in the tool box?

I guess if the only option is to pull your 355 onto the flatbed backwards, a small hole is better then damage to whatever else you hook up to :p

You are welcome. This is very easy to do with the rear bumper off....my car will have the rear tow hook in place always....but of you want to remove just drill hole in rear bumper the same size as the front and you can use the same rubber pug when tow hook is removed.

Tim, I got to looking at this in more detail and you can do with no welding. Just drill a hole in the frame bumper mount and tap...doesn't get any easier.
