The splendor of the original body was diminished somewhat while in Argentina...

I think Classiche is in it for the money, and doesn't know half the things that people like Marcel ACTUALLY know. I have SERIOUS questions about 01C/010I, which has been certified as the first Ferrari...

I was curious about the Monaco registered 250TdF (pic in post #40) that the advertising sheet with it stated that it had been 'partially certified'... Is that like being a bit pregnant? Even in my amatuerish knowledge I see cars in the flesh and read advertisements for cars for sale that state they are certified that seem to have changes over their original condition. But then, I'm not a good friend of someone in Maranello and I don't have a large bank balance...

Look forward to seeing DCN and Alain De Cadanet's documentary!

Can anyone give a brief history of the 500 F2 car on the Hall & Hall stand or direct me to a history of these single seaters. I'm not that familiar with the early single seaters.
    Many thanks John

A Belgian correspondant has just emailed me photos of some of the Ferraris on display at Rétromobile,.

Included in the attachment was a photo of a 1967 Daytona 1-2-3 P4/412P diorama, which purported to be 1:12 scale.

Looked nicely done / detailed, and suitably 'dusted'. Anyone got an idea who the builder might be ?

I noticed the 1/12th 2F is coming from MG. By the way, have you seen any pictures of the Patrice de Conto 1/6th scale 1956 Ferrari D50 chassis displayed at Retro??
