Nope, he called me a genuine bloke. Such a nice old fella. I went past last week to say hello to him but he is on long service leave till August this year. He then comes back to work and will put his notice in to retire he said.
you didn't mention any names in your sentence, why would ff jump into conclusions that you were talking about him? you could have been talking about anyone for that matter.
