OK, a seperate thread to discuss all things C&C for a second location. The Boulder one is the first Sat. of every month, so how about having it the second Sat. of every month to start out?

    Location ideas?

How about someplace at/near Park Meadows?

    Time?

    How about 7am-9am?

    Feel free to discuss :)

The Barnes & Noble / Starbucks on County Line & Yosemite should be a good place to meet (if in the morning).

Some of us "Northerners" might attend too...so, I'd say start a bit later, and go till 10AM.

How is their parking? "Exotic" friendly?

It has been a little while since I have been to B&N right there.

Edit: went to maps.google.com and did a location view from the street for "8354 Willow St, Littleton, CO" and it looks "exotic" friendly.

This Sat. is Valentine's day, so I think that would be out for most. Should we try to start this in March?

I would definitely be there. 8:00 is a better start time, just in time for a second cup (pot) of coffee!
    Second Saturday in March?

Yeah, the parking lot should be pretty open before all those stores open.

And it's only 0.5 mile from I-25 & County Line.

Easier for me than Boulder. Negates 30 minutes of lost sleep as well for us night owls.

It is to bad that this is in conflict with the Porsche breakfast club which meets the second Saturday of every month. This month too the RM356Club is touring the Bugatti restoration shop that day. Oh well, it is always good to have choices.

***At Noon on Saturday there is also this that I found on Left Lane Life forum which is I believe a repost from a BMW forum:***

The seond large Denver GTG of 2009 will be on Saturday, February 28th, 2009 @ 12:00pm.
January was a great time with some 85+ cars! Hopefully weather shapes up better.

    Arapahoe Crossings
    [Arapahoe Road and Parker Road]

    Directions:
    I-25 to Arapahoe Road
Arapahoe Rd east to Parker Road
Crossings is on the north-east corner

Park central of the lot... There will be a ton of space available, we should not have a problem at all.

PLEASE come with a positive attitude; many are meeting each other for the first time.
We don't anyone to crash the fun in the first part of the year... that's never good!

NOTE There will be no reservations set; this will be a "free-for-all" event.

NOTE: Also, there will be a few OBDII VAG-COMs and other scanners being brought if you need a scan. Just ask and we'd be glad to help fellow owners out.

Questions, concerns, comments? Feel free to IM me!
People usually arrive and meet and greet; enjoying the weather and good company.
Please post if your going; I'll do my best to keep track and update a list as it formulates.

Hello, my name is Dennis and I don't own any F-cars(though I like them) but I do own a few Porsche Turbos. Joined to spread the word about the C and C location. Some of the local group of people including two scuderias, some Lambos and porsches all met at this location this last Saturday, to say that it was not ideal for a meet is an understatement. Too much traffic, loading truck, moms in vans, ladies trying to park in between nice cars, etc. One of the store owners told my wife that there is always some car getting nailed in this lot (Barnes and Noble). So we talked about moving it to a much better location right down the street, which has much more room, less traffic and coffee that opens up earlier. It really is the ideal location. If we can get both groups to meet there and spread the word, we should have a nice non eventful place.

The location is the GREAT INDOORS at:

    8585 S Yosemite St
    Littleton, CO 80124

Somebody I know suggested the same place, and noted that the lot is MUCH larger, and has less traffic. About 1 block away from the Barnes & Noble location.

Anybody else have thoughts and comments?

I agree with Great Indoors Park Meadows, larger parking lot and less traffic.
