Does somebody on this forum have the confirmed wheel colour code for the glass 1976 308's. The discussion I've had with other owners has led me to believe the Daytona, GTC's, Dino's, 365gtb4's where a slightly different grey- silver. Once the GTB's, 400's were produced the colour changed slightly and has not differed since. Below is what I have, but does not give the paint manufacturer. Does the Glasurit F101C apply the 308's or the earlier cars? Also is there a clear coat and what are the specs, type, manufacturer, application qty, etc? Among our number here is there and authority on the subject that has a solution?
    Regards

Doesn't the "C" denote metallic? The wheels are plain, non-metallic silver aren't they? IE: Fer101.

Fer101c is the correct color, with no clear coat is original. There is heavy metallic content. I refinished mine a couple of years ago- photo attached.

Can you tell me who the manufacturers are. Also are they a different shade to earlier V12's?
    Thanks MG

Without wanting to hijack the thread, what is the color/code for the 328's?
    Thanks....

Another question: I also thought there were flat/matte, not semi-gloss as in the picture. Anyone with an original, untouched set of wheels comment? Is it a year thing?

I went to Carquest, they had a paint dept and looked up "Glasurit FER 101c", they had the cross reference and mixed the exact paint color. I compared it to my originals and except for some paint fade in the originals , it was very close.
I attached a photo of the original wheel before refinishing to compare. Some owners, have a clear coat added to protect the paint but I wanted the original look, so I didn't use clear on mine. It was a fun project, they still look perfect 2+ years later. (above photo was in the Sunlight, below was taken in the garage, so not as bright)

Wow, I thought mine were bad! How far down did they strip before they repainted?
